If the IRS is holding your return up in processing there is nothing Turbotax can do about it or help you with until they send you a letter.

I have mistakenly forgot to include the SSA info on my Federal filing. Should I wait until asked about it. I have already seen my checking acct increased by the wrong amount.

@Ronald90 Did you already e-file?  What about your checking account?  Did the IRS already send you a refund?

 

If you already filed and did not include the SSA1099, you will have to amend your tax return.  But please explain first.

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.

Hello My federal tax return was to be deposited to my checking account around March 18. My bank said to check with turbo tax to verify that my account information is correct. Thank you.

How were you informed that the federal tax refund was to be deposited on March 18?

If you were looking at the date on the TurboTax account website that is Only an estimate and not the actual date.

Once your return has been successfully efiled then TT can no longer help you with your refund.  In your other post you were told how to reach the IRS.  

 

Once your return has been accepted (received) by the government, they take over the refund status update duties, since they hold the purse strings. The status in TurboTax will remain as "accepted."

 

Check the IRS Where's My Refund site for the latest word on your federal tax refund, and your state government's refund lookup service for your state’s status.

Were you having the refund direct deposited to your bank account directly ?


If the IRS has actually sent the funds, the IRS FAQ page says to allow "up to 5 days" due to variations in bank processing procedures and times.

If so did you enter the correct routing & account number for an ACH transfer ?  Here is how you can see your deposit information:

Your direct deposit information will be at the bottom of your Form 1040.

To view your 1040 after filing, Sign into TurboTax Taxes > Tax Timeline > Some other things you can do Download/print (.pdf)

If so the refund needs to go from the IRS to the third party bank to the card.  This process can take up to 3 business days or more.

Obviously my return wasn't successfully filed, IRS did not receive it. I need help NOW.


TurboTax Home & Business supports entering information about a land sale.  Thus, there should be no need to switch to a different TurboTax product.  Was this land sale effected in connection with a business?  If yes, then the land sale information should be entered in the Sale of Business Property section of TurboTax Home & Business.  Sale of Business Property is under the Business and Business Income and Expenses tabs.  

 

If the land sale was not part of a business, then you enter the land sale information under Personal Income, in the Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other section.

I received a email for the state of Kentucky say my tax form was rejected,  however my status in turbo tax is pending, Is this normal ??? Is there some way to resubmit it to the state ??
