I got a message that the IRS deposit money in an account I have but I know longer have the card with the ending #s. I don't know how to find were my money is
Using Turbo Tax Premier I’m trying to do Taxes for 2021.
I was trying to pull the info from my 2020 Taxes into the 2021 Data Base and somehow either the info from 2019 Filing and refund info got sent to the ITS by mistake. It said my Return had been accepted and my refund was being processed. I am current with all filings and actually received my Refund from my 2019 Filing and my 2021 filing. I’m scared the IRS is going to send me duplicate refund because of the message I received.
I tried calling IRS directly, but they don’t take calls. I tried calling my local IRS and they don’t take calls. I tried calling Turbo Tax and the guy I spoke with gave me another number, but that was wrong, too!
I’m so frightened and need help.
PLEASE help me
@buchanan1923 Not sure what you did or what you clicked on ----but it is impossible to e-file a 2019 return. E-filing has been permanently closed for 2019 returns since October of 2020. So nothing you did sent a tax return to the IRS. Relax.
The only tax year that can possibly be e-filed at this time is 2021. No other year can be e-filed.
@buchananan1923 Did you complete your 2021 taxes using the TurboTax 2021 CD/Download software, or were you using the 2019 software?
I am already a member IRS has rejected my return
zThey say AGI on 2020 rerun of $4415
Does not match their records
I filed an amended return in 2020
I have TurboTax File in front ofme
If it was rejected for AGI—-be aware that many 2020 returns took so long for the IRS to process that your 2020 AGI might not be in the IRS system. Try using zero instead.
If filing with zero is rejected then file again but select the option that you did not file last year. The IRS does not see that question and it will allow you to e-file with no AGI question.

If that does not work and you still cannot e-file, then print, sign, and mail your tax return.
You must use the AGI from the original return not the amended AGI ... look on the form 1040X line 1 COLUMN A NOT C.
IRS transcript shows 6135
10X line 1 column A shows -1765

But if you have the Free Edition it doesn't have phone support. And it might be faster to post your questions here in this forum. We are live people.
I just filed my taxes using turbo tax but some of the information is wrong how can I cancel to refiled my taxes.
You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it. It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner. Remember seeing this warning before you hit that transmit now button? It was deadly serious.
If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.” The changes will go nowhere.
Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return. If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.
If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund. THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and mail it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally. You will need to use a form called a 1040X. return.
Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself. Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed
