I have submitted my taxes at least seven times for ty 2022. It keeps getting rejected and has me revisit my ty 2021 and list my AGI. I am doing exactly what it says to do and I keep getting federal and state taxes rejected. Could someone please help me!

Thank you

ENTER 0 FOR AGI. The IRS took a long time last year to process 2021 returns so the AGI didn't get entered in time.  Especially if you mailed it.  That works for most people. See,

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them.  You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places.  Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

No it did not. I entered "0" and my federal and state were both rejected again.

@socialworkken If the AGI from your 2021 line 11 does not work, and zero does not work, try saying you did not file last year.  If that does not work either then you need to just print, sign and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
