Yeah I can't add a W-2. When I click update it's just a blank screen. It never gives me an option to add a W-2 to my income.
So are you using TurboTax Online or desktop? If desktop, is it for Windows or Mac?
Are you saying that you can't add any W-2s at all, or just a second W-2?
I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to add a new W-2 and all I get is a blank screen. I've used TurboTax for several years but now I'm thinking I need to try a new version. Shouldn't have these kind of bugs.
Are you using TurboTax Online? Where were you in the program when you saw a blank screen?
If you are using TurboTax Online, check your Internet connection. Hardwired connections work best. Logging out of TurboTax and back in, changing browsers (Chrome generally works well), or clearing your cache and cookies often helps.

Every computer has a unique combination of components, settings, programs, services, and users. This means TurboTax can install and run flawlessly on one computer, but another computer's configuration can cause conflicts when installing, launching, or running TurboTax.

I have a pdf copy of my w-2 and would like to bring it into turbotax desktop. I can't find where to do it. Do i have to enter manually?
No, you won't need to enter it manually. When your first start on your W-2, TurboTax will ask for the Employer ID. In some instances, the information can be imported automatically by entering a few additional numbers from the W2. If not, the next screen will give you the option to Upload it from my computer, which will open file explorer. Locate the PDF file, click on it, then click Open on the file explorer screen. That will import the W-2 information into TurboTax.
Be sure to double check the entries in TurboTax against the entries on the W-2 to make sure that all of the information has been imported correctly. Some W-2 forms have multiple pages, so be sure that all entries on additional pages are imported correctly as well.
It did not offer to upload from my computer as I thought it was supposed to. So I ended up entering it manually. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong or if the system simply didn't work!!
