How do I change my W-2 info in TurboTax?

You can change or delete your W-2 info if you haven't filed your taxes yet.

In TurboTax Online or Desktop:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Navigate to the W-2 section:
   • TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to W-2.
   • TurboTax Desktop: Search for W-2 and select the Jump to link.
3. On the Your W-2 info so far screen, select Edit next to the W-2 you want to change.
4. Select the trash can Delete icon to delete the W-2.

In the TurboTax mobile app:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Select Wages & Income.
3. Select Review/Edit.
4. Select Job (W-2).
5. Select Review to edit the W-2.
6. Select the three-dot icon and select Delete.

If you already e-filed, wait until your return is either accepted or rejected.

• If rejected, you can edit the W-2 as instructed in this article before resubmitting or paper-filing your return.
• If accepted (or if you already paper-filed), you'll probably need to amend your return if the edits you're making will cause your taxes to change.
