How do I change my W-2 info in TurboTax?
You can change or delete your W-2 info if you haven't filed your taxes yet.
In TurboTax Online or Desktop:
Open or continue your return.
Navigate to the W-2 section:
TurboTax Online/Mobile: Go to W-2.
TurboTax Desktop: Search for W-2 and select the Jump to link.
On the Your W-2 summary screen, select Edit next to the W-2 you want to change.
Select Delete to delete the W-2.
In the TurboTax mobile app:
Open or continue your return.
Select Wages & Income.
On the Your W-2 summary screen, select Edit to change your W-2 information, or select Delete to remove it entirely.
If you already e-filed, wait until your return is either accepted or rejected.
If rejected, you can edit the W-2 as instructed in this article before resubmitting or paper-filing your return.
If accepted (or if you already paper-filed), you'll probably need to amend your return if the edits you're making will cause your taxes to change.
