i am having trouble with filing. i have a 1099 from uber but it is only showing my earnings from oct/2019-dec/2019. i drove for uber jan2019-sept 2019 in nevada but uber never sent a 1099 for nv. they said i can file by just looking @ my tax summary but im not sure what to put in the compensation box just by looking @ the tax summary.
There must be a gross income amount ... enter it in the other income section...
I purchased 2021 turbo tax directly from turbo tax, 0rder number QSTCA152193244. Where is my 16 character license code so I can open the tax return program? I am extremely frustrated in trying to open it since I can't find the license code.

Unable to get my download of Turbo Tax for current year. I am using the most current IPAS Air and am limited to 25MB attachment.
Unable to get Turbo Tax for 2021 I just paid for to download on my IPAD Air (current model). States only accepts attachment of 25MB or less.
Sorry you can not install the Desktop program on an iPad. You need a full Mac or Windows computer. If you don't have a computer you need to get a refund and can use the Online web version.

The CD/download cannot be used on a mobile device. You can only use the CD/download on a full PC or Mac.
You could use online software on your iPad. Ask customer support to change you to online.

Sent in my 2019 and my 2018 returns thru Turbo Tax and had to send them via the mail! Not thru e-file, sent them in mid July 13-17th of 2021, do not seem to be able to get any feedback from IRS or Turbo Tax. Just trying to make sure they are being filed correctly and that I followed the instruction right.
TurboTax never knows anything about a tax return that you mailed. No information is provided to TurboTax after you file a tax return either by e-filing it or mailing it. If you used a mailing service like certified mail to track it and confirm that it was received then you would know that the IRS received the returns. Hope you used separate envelopes for each tax year or one of them might be overlooked when the envelope is opened.
It is taking the very backlogged IRS six months or more to process mailed returns, so you will not know anything about your refund for those returns until you receive the refund. The IRS does not put information about 2018 or 2019 refunds on the refund site.

If you did not use a tracking service from the US Post Office when the returns were mailed, then you will not know if the IRS ever received the tax return. If you put both tax returns in the same envelope then this will delay the processing of these returns. Each tax year should be mailed in a separate envelope.
With all this being said the only way for you to know if the IRS received these returns is to contact the IRS and speak with an agent. Call the IRS the first thing in the morning at 7am your time since an early call increases your chances to get to an actual agent.

When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.
Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.
When did you prepare them? Like did you do 2018 in 2019? And 2019 last year in 2020?
If you did them in 2021 you had to use the Desktop installed program and buy a program for each year. Did you buy the 2018 program and the 2019 program?
Hopefully you mailed them in separate envelopes or the IRS will miss one. The IRS is taking a long time to process mailed returns. Like 6 months and more. Only the IRS can tell you.
yes, bought each year and filed each year 2019 and 2018 separately and mailed separately. Mailed each year in mid July 2021. Thanks for the info
