First, cburgyan, would you do me the favor of making a new post with this question? It is difficult to pore through all the replies to see if any of them are relevant.
Second, in that new post, please tell me the following:
1. Where did the $1,490 something come from? Is this the amount of premiums you paid to the insurance company for the Marketplace policy (doesn't seem like very much"? Is this some other amount? Where did it comes from? Why are you entering it?
2. You entered a 1095-A, right?
3. Did you end up owing more premium tax credit or are you getting a return of premium tax credit (it may be difficult to tell, since right now, if you owe more premium tax credit, the 8962 is being suppressed so it's hard for you to tell).
4. On your 1095-A, what was the total of columns A, B, and C?
5. Do you have more than 1 business?
6. Did you enter the business before the 1095-A?
7. When you entered the 1095-A, did you mark the business that it belonged to when TurboTax asked you?
8. On Schedule C, did you make an entry for Self-employed Health Insurance?
I am sorry for so many questions, but we in the Community are working blind here since we can't see your private tax data.
Oh, and at the bottom of your reply (in a new post, please), please add @ BILLM223 (without the space in between) so that I will be notified.
My Utah state return claims I need to fix my state employer ID numbers "Must be 14 characters without hyphens." and I looked at the return it created and all state employer ID numbers are correct, so I think there might be something wrong with the software there.
Is there a way to remove my Utah return so I can e-file my federal return and just mail in my Utah return?
Turbotax Deluxe Form 1099-R Line 37
Input 3 1099-Rs. The withholding added incorrectly. I cannot override the number. I cannot e-file with an override.

It's a "quirk" in the software that is usually easily fixed. That is a common problem with Utah state returns, and has been an easy fix for most.
The problem is with the Utah TC-40W form and the Employer/Payer state withholding ID number in Box 15 of a W-2, for instance. It can also happen with some 1099's if there is Utah withholding.
The employer state withholding ID is 14 characters in length--11 characters than an additional wth at the end. You are correct that you do not use any hyphens. However, many people have had to use lower case for the wth to get it to work. So try a lower case wth and hopefully that will let you efile.
NOTE: If you have more than one W-2 or 1099 with such a state withholding ID number, you have to change it to lower case on all the forms. The lower case wth has to be used on all the Utah W-2's, 1099's, in your return that have an employer/payer state withholding ID number.
My tax return is complete, but at that last moment in the filing process (after putting in all my bank and license info and clicking on the Transmit Returns Now button), the program is asking me to fill in fields in my pension 1099-R form that are blank on the form I was sent by the NYC Teachers Retirement System. The program is not letting me file. WHAT CAN I DO?

You may or may not get a response in this cluttered 16-page miscellaneous thread. Normally it's best if a user starts their own new thread on an issue like that, which makes it more visible and is more conducive to a back and forth, and more likely to catch the eye of someone who is familiar with that topic. You'll likely have to be questioned about your 1099-R. You didn't mention what the problem fields are and if you are using Online TurboTax or desktop software (CD/download).
I'll see if @dmertz who is familiar with that topic can assist you, but he may or may not be in the forum until tomorrow. And he'll likely need to question you for more info about the problem fields.
If you want to start a new thread, here's how:
Go to the page below and click the blue "Ask a question" button. The title line has limited space is for a summary of your question. Below it is is a box with room for plenty of details. Remember this is a public Internet forum, so don't post any personal info in the forum.

What is the E: drive? Is that an external drive or a thumb drive, by any chance? Did you by any chance install the software on a removable USB drive? If so, that's not recommended.
What version of Windows are you using? Is your TurboTax software up to date?
No expert here, but I would save your file and try to reinstall the software. good luck
I received a notice from mississippi state department of revenue stating my income tax withheld on my tax return is different from my w-2 by $3000. I have doubled checked what I entered and it matches w-2 so why the difference? Was it an error in addition by the software?
If you sent them the correct information via TurboTax, then send a copy of the W2 showing the withholdings to the state of Mississippi. If you wish assistance in preparing a response, please click the following link for additional assistance: What is the TurboTax Audit Support Guarantee?
My Federal return is $3744 and my Louisiana tax due id $565 so why is my amount of refund now say $3179. I want to file my Federal now but not the state. I dont have to remit paynent of
$565 until June 15 I t looks like Turbo tax is deducting my state tax from my Federal return WHY?
@oaktree200 You can do that if you wish. TurboTax is not deducting your Louisiana Tax due from your Federal Refund, however. What you are seeing is a report of the net result. You may file as you state. You might have to set up your state payment with the state if you file now and wish to wait to pay closer to June 15.
One of the biggest misconceptions is that if you owe, you can wait until the filing deadline to file because that is when you will pay. That's only partially true. Your deadline to pay does not change no matter when you file. If you file in January, your pay deadline is the same (June 15th in this case). So it really makes sense to go ahead and file now so you don't risk something happening and you can't file on time for some reason. You still don't have to pay until the deadline: June 15.
To file the Federal now, and state later, see this Help Article: Can I file my federal taxes now and skip my state for later?
So turbo tax is saying on box 2 of my 1099-G unemployment, even though it's blank, the box with the year 2020 is next to it and it is forcing me to answer where it came from and it's a mistake!
I have no time and it's forcing me to get the deluxe version plus the state tax for 140 right now which I can't afford and I believe I seriously do not need
