TT premier
I purchased the TurboTax Deluxe 2020, installed it from the CD and no where did it ask for the Activation Code and there doesn't appear to be anyway to open the program.

The 16 digit license code is located in your download account for 2023 desktop software you purchased from TurboTax.
Sign onto your download account here - https://shopping.turbotax.intuit.com/unified/downloads?route=myaccounts&cgcview=downloads
Download and install the TurboTax desktop software on a personal computer. During the installation you will be asked to enter the license code.
See this TurboTax support FAQ for installing and activating your desktop software - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/license-information/install-turbotax-cd-...
