How do I fix blank screens during activation or in-product purchases in TurboTax Desktop for Windows?

Some TurboTax Desktop for Windows customers are experiencing a blank screen during product activation or during purchase of additional states, product upgrades, or when paying for state e-file fees.

This issue is caused by video card driver incompatibility with certain video cards and can be fixed with a video card driver update. To resolve this issue, update your video card drivers to the most recent version.

You can update your video card driver by visiting your video card manufacturer’s website. For some integrated system video cards, you can update through a windows update.
