After 22 days, i have just recieved this email. Just as i expected, there is NOTHING they can do about helping with the advance. If you were one of the first people to file and your advance application was "never recieved", just wait for your taxes cuz they cant do a **bleep** thing to fix it. They knew this all along. Seriously disgusted
As I already said ... this was a new company situation that had glitches that affected the eager early filers is really nothing new or unexpected. The fact that the problem was finally figured out and acknowledged, a promise was made to do it better next year and a refund of the TT fees was an appropriate step. Unfortunately due to how the efile system is set up they could not make the loans/advances after the efile was accepted by the IRS and it is unfortunate for those affected by this unforeseen issue.
Yes, I am having the same issue. I pre-qualified for the refund advance through credit karma AND it states that they don't look at your credit but I haven't received an approval or denial not a refund advance. My state and Federal were accepted on Jan 25th. I received my state but waiting on Federal. I also received the detail of the advance on my tax PDF and I received the Credit Karma money card that I had to get when I selected the refund advance option, but didn't get the advance. I need money. If I would have known that I wouldn't get the advance even though I was more than pre-qualified, I would have taken my taxes somewhere else. When I call turbo tax, I really don't get any definite answer other than it ends with me being told to call Credit Karma. When I call Credit Karma customer service it is a nightmare. Every representative that I spoke to had no knowledge of their products that turbo tax offered, but also barely spoke or understood English. Also, everytime, in the end I was told to call turbo tax and that it was their issue. I have been patient with them and with this whole process but this is getting ridiculous. They shouldn't be offering a product that they can't service. Also they claim that if you don't qualify for the advance you will get refund through credit karma 5 days faster. Yet their customer service said I have to call the IRS to see when it will be issued. Well if it shows on IRS that a refund was issued/sent, I would get the direct deposit in a day anyways. So what is the benefit? This is a joke. I really needed this money and I am very disappointed with all involved. Sorry had to rant.
@Allygogo21 I was having same experience as you. I have been constantly juggled around between both companies. No one knows anything. If they would have been more transparent at the time I filed. I would have filed where I would have actually received my advance, not tricked into getting a credit karma card.
I am having this issue as well! All promotions that were offered I have yet to benefit from any of them! No $100 bonus, no refund advance.... I am crossing my fingers I even get my return after reading other reviews! The worst part is I have yet to find a phone number to contact anyone to help!!! If someine has a customer service # please share. Thanks

I'm glad I just read your post because I thought I signed up for the advance but they told me I didn't. However my money went to credit karma so if I didn't sign up for the advance then I signed up for the 100$ bonus and I sure as hell didn't get that either. I'll be calling them asap!
definitely big garbage and turbotax/Intuit's automated call system is an absolute sh5tshow travesty. Whoever programmed it to wear down humans into giving into a few rigid cookie cutter options and forcing useless "features" such as the robot forcing you to tell your first name before it will connect you with a specialist(if you can get the skynet b3tch to even connect you GOOD LUCK HA) and it's like WHY. they have all my info, why does this terrible automated system NEED MY FIRST NAME TO CONNECT ME. honestly whoever programmed that call system deserves a plague of locusts and their firstborn to be kidnapped. b i b l i c a l r e c o u r s e

I read and understood the terms. However, there is no reflection in either domain of the refund advance process I went through and was approved. As a Software Web Engineer, application/network errors that are in favor of the institution & can have fault assigned elsewhere are seldom a priority. Intuit in my view has a fiduciary responsibility to address the contractual obligation.

That is the essence of possible collusion towards an illegal bate and switch. We were offered an advance on a refund and accepted fund availability upon IRS acceptance of our return, not upon IRS refund disbursement. Otherwise why would one not just deposit to their own bank & pay turbotax fees outright. That enticement is the essence of bate and switch. Now, they hold and millions of dollars which on a daily basis is significant. Plus I'm assuming when I try to close my account and transfer my return to my bank, they will charge another transaction fee. Although TubTax already charged approximately 39.00 for a processing fee.
Please check your paperwork for the loan agreement documents to confirm that the Refund Advance was applied for.
To print out all the worksheets, including the TurboTax worksheets used to fill in the return, there should be an option to download all forms and worksheets in the Print Center.
