SOLVEDby TurboTax11105Updated January 13, 2023

If you’re expecting a federal refund, you can apply for a loan based on your refund, up to $4,000. If approved, you’ll typically receive your Refund Advance within one hour of the IRS accepting your e-filed return.

You’ll receive your Refund Advance on a Credit Karma Visa® Debit Card that you can spend anywhere Visa is accepted. There are $0 loan fees and 0% APR on the Credit Karma Visa® Debit Card.

Provided by First Century Bank, N.A. Member FDIC, the loan will be equal to a portion of your anticipated refund in one of ten amounts: $250, $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $3,500, $4,000. You’ll only receive part of your refund as a Refund Advance.

This offer is available until February 15, 2023.

You'll get your Refund Advance funds typically within one hour of the IRS accepting your e-filed tax return (estimated late January).

You'll receive an email when your Refund Advance funds are available to spend. You'll receive a physical card in the mail in 7-14 days. While you wait, you can spend your Refund Advance funds via the Credit Karma mobile app. Visit this article to download the app and visit this article to link your Credit Karma Visa® Debit Card to digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Your remaining federal and entire state refund (minus any agreed upon fees) will be deposited to your Credit Karma Money Spend account when the IRS or state tax authorities distribute your refund (usually within 21 days from IRS acceptance).

You can apply for Refund Advance when you choose your refund method. Select File from the left menu (select the menu icon if you’re using the mobile app). When you reach Step 2 Your Refund Info, select Start. You’ll see Refund Advance as an option for receiving your refund. The Credit Karma Money Spend Account Only option does not include a Refund Advance.

If you apply for a Refund Advance, your application will need to be approved by First Century Bank, N.A. before you can receive your advance.

You must completely fill out your tax return, including entering your tax forms (like a W-2 or a 1099), before you can apply for Refund Advance. You can't apply for Refund Advance after you file your taxes.

You'll receive a $0 fee, 0% APR loan equal to a portion of your anticipated refund in one of ten amounts: $250, $500, $750, $1,000, $1,500, $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $3,500, $4,000.
