Hello, I would appreciate it if I could get some help. I have a question. I filed my taxes for this year two months ago, yet I noticed that TurboTax didn't sent me an email saying that my federal tax return was accepted. Is there someone I can contaxt specifically to get help with that?
Thank you, and have a good day.
Refunds usually take about 21 days after the IRS has accepted your e-filed return. Although, sometimes it can take longer. The IRS is taking more than 21 days (and up to 90 to 120 days) to issue refunds for tax returns with the Recovery Rebate Credit, Earned Income Tax Credit and Additional Child Tax Credit. Please see this Help Article for information on the timeframe of refunds, checking to see if your e-filed return was accepted, and how to check the status of your refund.
If the IRS has accepted your e-filed return, you can check the status of your refund by going directly to https://www.irs.gov/refunds.
If you need additional assistance please feel free to contact Customer Support.

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

When I look in TurboTax, it says my "Refund is Ready to Mail"
. How can I see if I asked to it to be put into my bank account,
or mailed to me?
Ready to Mail means your tax return (not your refund) is ready for YOU to print, sign and file by mail.
@Shar13 Your post is answered in your other posting. YOU must print, sign and mail your tax return.
I haven't received all of my refund I only received partial of it when will I receive all of it
@Somphath1971 What do you mean by "partial" of your refund? State and federal refunds come separately. Did you only receive one of them so far? Or do you mean your refund was reduced by the IRS or state?
is it for federal or state? Federal and state refunds come separately from different places at different times. And they don't come in parts. Maybe the IRS reduced your refund. How much is missing? Do you have an amount on line 30 or 28?
If the IRS adjusted your refund they will mail you a letter in a couple weeks.
The 2 most common reasons this year is you entered the wrong amount on line 30 for the Recovery Rebate Credit (3rd Stimulus payment) or line 28 for the Child Tax Credit. Those lines are just if you didn't already get the full amount or qualify for more. The IRS knows what they already sent you.
A lot of people answered the questions wrong and tried to claim the credits again. Double check your bank statements and Check your IRS account (both accounts if married)

where is my tax refund?
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
