Requesting my Walmart W2
As previously stated -
You will have to contact the employer for the 2021 W-2. Employers have until January 31, 2022 to provide you with the 2021 W-2. Make sure that the employer has your current mailing address.
Additionally -
As stated on the back of the W-2 -
Keep Copy C of Form W-2 for at least 3 years after the due date for filing your income tax return. However, to help protect your social security benefits, keep Copy C until you begin receiving social security benefits, just in case there is a question about your work record and/or earnings in a particular year.
TurboTax does not have a copy of the W-2 or Form 1099.
It would have a Form W-2 Wage and Tax Statement that included the tax data from the forms that were entered.
The forms would be included in the PDF of the tax return in the tax year the return was completed.
Copies of a Form 1099 would have to obtained from the issuer of the form.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
If you cannot obtain the W-2 from your employer, then for a fee you can get a complete copy of a W-2 from the Social Security Administration - https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501
You can get a free Wage and Income transcript from the IRS - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript
For a fee of $43 you can get a complete federal tax return to include copies of W-2's, if you mailed the tax return and included a paper W-2, from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

How do I get a copy of my w-2 electronic fast
@WG103 Your employer is the only one who can provide you with a copy of your W-2 form. They should make it available to you by the end of January. You need to contact your employer and request instructions on how to download it from the internet if you want it sent to you electronically.
I need my 2019 w-2
TurboTax will have a copy of your W-2, if you took a picture of the form with your phone or uploaded the actual image from your computer. It will be stored in Documents, on the upper left of the main menu bar. When you click there it will ask which year and then display documents you uploaded, as seen below. Select the down triangle to change to another year.
If you manually typed in the information or imported it from your employer, then the information was entered in your return but TurboTax would not have the actual image. You can obtain a copy of the IRS transcript from an online IRS account. I highly recommend that everyone create an online account on the IRS website to see transcripts and verify the status of returns, payments, refunds, stimulus information and so much more.

Your employers provide the W-2.
See this TurboTax website for importing a W-2 - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/entering-importing/help/how-do-i-import-or-enter-my-w-2/00/26253
Every 2021 W-2 that you received must be reported on your 2021 tax return, even if they are for small amounts. Remember that each one of those W-2’s has your Social Security number on it, and that income was reported to the IRS by the employer. You do not want to get in trouble with the IRS for under-reporting your income.
ALL of your W-2’s must be entered on the SAME tax return.
Go to Federal>Wages & Income to enter a W-2.
After you enter the first one, you click Add Another W-2.
W-2's come from your employer, and they have until January 31 to issue it. Some employers allow you to import the W-2 through the software, but for security reasons you still need information from the actual W-2 to import it. You might need to phone, drop in, email and/or snail mail an old employer to make sure they know where to send your W-2.

And….SAVE YOUR OWN W-2! TURBOTAX DOES NOT SAVE IT FOR YOU. TurboTax will not have a copy of it in your account and will not have an image even if you snapped a photo. It is up to you to save it for your own records as stated on the back of the W-2.
