This is ridiculously difficult to go through this many hoops to download TurboTax that I have already paid for! Why didn’t it download from the disk? Just send the download!

@alfredasoriano Can you provide more detail about the issue(s) you're experiencing? In the meantime, here are some tips to get your TurboTax up and running:

Refer to the following Help Article for step-by-step instructions to install the TurboTax CD: How to install TurboTax on Windows. Go here if you are using a Mac computer.
If you're running into installation issues, refer to this article: Troubleshoot installation and running TurboTax for Windows. Go here if you're using a Mac.
If none of the above works, you can download your software directly from TurboTax. Keep in mind, you will still need the license code that came with your CD. You will find the instructions here: I bought the CD, but my computer doesn't have a CD drive

I had to uninstall and reinstall 2019 from CD because of a corrupted system file (using the procedure described here: https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/installing/help/remove-uninstall-turbotax-for-mac/00/26050). When I got the program going again it did not ask me for the activation code again, but asked me for $$ to install the state. Do you have any idea how I can recover my earlier status?

One state program is included with the desktop software (except for Basic Edition which does not). Here's how to phone TurboTax Support:

Support hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific (8AM-12 Midnight Eastern), 7 days/week
