Oops! You can still install TurboTax if you don't have a built-in or external CD drive.

Start by setting up your TurboTax account if you don't already have one with us.

Then, contact us and a Support Representative will push a download into your TurboTax account.

Once that's been done, simply sign in to My Downloads to download your TurboTax software.

I called a support rep and they stated I had to return the cd first...that is not what the above says...what is correct?

You do not have to return the CD.  On the underside of the disc near the center there should be a number.  That is a proof of purchase.  Give that number to a rep and they will push you a download.
