They have a **bleep**ty system. Never answer calls and put my address wrong. HORRIBLE!!!
@asmaaM2023 The address is entered by the user--not by TurboTax. If your address is incorrect on your tax return, go to My Info to correct it. Or if you already filed it with the wrong address, change your address with the IRS.

Is it wrong in your online account?
you ain’t kidding started out free but by the time i was done punching in all my w2’s and everything else it came out to almost 250 dollars. Like i could have paid someone else less to do them and not done sh** other than give them my paper work…
This company will not refund my money. They did not send in my taxes and I requested a refund, since I was using someone else to do my taxes.
They are sneaky and try to get you to add on unnecessary fees.
They said that since I was a senior and low income, I would not have pay anything.
I agree! I have been using TurboTax for years, but this year it charged me for the filing - then emailed saying my taxes had not been filed. After almost forcing me (four times) to use the more expensive version. I had a question and the message was the only way to get the answer was to use the chat; when I tried to use the chat I was told I did not have a version that included chat.
Will not be using this again.
Yes, I bought Turbo Tax Deluxe at Sam's Club. I've filed a claim four times and they always find an issue with my claim? It's not that hard. I have a Sam's Club receipt, I have my Deluxe License code but when they get your money they are not giving it back. I also did not file my taxes with them and I never will now!!!! The last time I filed I took a picture of the original packaging, License code card, and Sam's club receipt and they never got back to me????
If you purchased at Sam's Club you would need to request a refund from Sam's Club.
They ripped me off for a $69 charge for something that's a Max anti audit service. They refused to remove the charge. There must be other software. for a total of $244 I could have almost hired someone to do it. Utter scum! It was bad enough getting through their cumbersome process. Used this years ago and it was never this hard. Maybe H and R Block is better. I'll never use this again
I never go through this much trouble to provide a review, but my experience has been so horrible, this time. I feel like I have to warn everyone I can NOT to EVER use this service if they are looking for an honest provider. Turbotax literally stole money from my bank account for a tax return they never filed and refuse to give it back.
They were trying to charge me $230 for a tax return that cost me $39 to file at HR Block. I cancelled, and switched services for obvious reasons, but Turbotax charged me anyway. I sat on the phone with customer service for nearly an hour for them to tell me they don't issue refunds. THEY NEVER FILED MY TAXES. This is outright theft. And a significant amount of it at that.
@Dukestake "They never filed my taxes"--- Paying your TurboTax fees does not file your tax return. In order to e-file, you have to go through all of the steps in the FILE section and click a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now." If you did not do that, then your return was not filed. TT does not click that button for you. If you reached the point where you had paid your fees---which you say you did-- then you had a prepared return that could have been e-filed or could have been filed by mail. (The fee is the same whether you e-file or file it by mailing it in an envelope. ) Once you have reached that point, TurboTax does not issue refunds to you.
What really happened? Did you not go all the way through the FILE section, or was your e-file rejected?
DID YOU E-FILE?
Did you e-file? Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”
When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted or rejected your federal e-file. If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.
Check your e-file status:

What does it say in your account? Does it show that the return was accepted? Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”
I never authorized Turbotax to take my money. Never clicked a button doing so after. After discovering the blatant overcharging, I took my business to HR Block. I've said my piece. Was a loyal Turbotax customer for five years. Unless you can personally return my money, I see no need to continue this discussion. Thank you.
