If you obtained the TurboTax CD from an authorized retailer, your license code is printed on the front of the insert in your box.

If you obtained the TurboTax CD directly from TurboTax.com, your license code is printed on the packing slip.

If you obtained the TurboTax CD through TurboTax Advantage, your license code is printed on the envelope.

Same question from me - If I purchased a used CD (with 3 filings remaining) but the license code is not included, how do I obtain it?

You will enter the License code in the License code box on the activation screen,

You’ll only need to enter it and validate the first time you install on a computer. You can, however, install the software on up to five of your computers using the same license code. If you need more, you’ll need to purchase another TurboTax license.

The license code is entered in the License code box on the activation screen. Select continue after you enter the code to complete the installation.
