I was told I could download with a code. In the the Package it indicated this is true and gives me the following license code for the download. [product key removed] I've used product for years but giving serious consideration to moving on

I find it much simpler to just find any computer with a CD drive in it. Then copy the contents of the CD to s USB thumb drive. Then install the program on the desired computer from the thumb drive.

Except if you can log in to the download site (link below), rather than merely having, at some point, an outdated version of the software on a CD or flash drive, you will have access to the most up to date version of the software,
