I'm sorry that you are having trouble reaching our customer service team. With the new tax deadline only a week away, our current volume to reach customer service is very high.
We don't have an e-mail system for customer service because we can't secure your personal information in an e-mail format. Protecting your personal data is of the highest importance to us.
To issue a refund we do need to access your account, which requires personal data.
The time it takes to reach an agent will drop significantly after July 15th, and we will still be here (we are available all year.) If you aren't able to hold for the period of time it currently takes to reach an agent, you may wish to wait until after the 15th to reach back out.
We also tend to be less busy first thing in the morning. Our current hours are 5AM-9PM Pacific time. (After 7/15 hours will return to 8AM-5PM Pacfic Time.)
Your customer service line is HORRIBLE! I guess I don't say any magic words when I ask to speak to a customer representative, because I get in an endless loop asking me why I am calling! You are the worst experience I have ever had. How do I get a refund on the $120 that was charged me? And be specific, I want to clear this up in the next phone call, not be on hold, or talking to a computer with the intelligence of a worm.

To contact TurboTax customer service/support use their contact website during business hours. If the problem concerns any type of refund for fees, use the key words billing issues and do Not use the word Refund or you will get a phone number for tax refunds.
Use this website to contact TurboTax support during business hours - https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
Support can also be reached by messaging them on these pages https://www.facebook.com/turbotax/ and https://twitter.com/TeamTurboTax
OK. It's confirmed. YOU. ARE. THE. WORST. I called the customer number, said I had a BILLING question, was put on hold for somebody. They said the wait was 30-35 minutes. I waited and after 17 minutes, my call was lost. I called again, said I had a billing question, and now your idiotic computer said they had a message to send me, do I want text or email. I got text, clicked on the link, and now I am on the intuit message boards, and none of the suggestions pertain to my issue. I got TurboTax because my ride sharing partner provided it for FREE. I was charged $120 when I filed my taxes. I want that back. Please give me a human contact to talk to you, your answering service obviously doesn't have that capability to help me.
Use this phone number and select TurboTax - 1-800-4-INTUIT (1-800-446-8848)
On hold today for over an hour. Scamming people on there credit card subscriptions when was cancelled last year. Over charges and reported to better business bureau. Consumers beware. This place is a scam and a racket to charge people annually on a bogus subscription!!!!
If you cancelled it before Nov you might have another account. First LOG OUT of whatever TurboTax account you're logged into right now. Then use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of user ID's for an email address. Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
Did you cancel it right?
You can sign into your Turbo Tax Advantage account and under Your Product, select to Remove Product. Once you remove the recurring product order, the Turbo Tax Advantage subscription will be cancelled as well.
How to cancel Turbo Tax Advantage
If you missed the cancelation deadline for this year's TurboTax product, simply wait until you receive your CD or download, then submit an online refund requestwithin 60 days of receiving your product.
So, obviously this year was weird. Now my niece was living with me in 2020 and my son the first 7 months of the year.. and apparently I didn’t get the rebate that every single person gets, even homeless people?so since I went thru you guys .. I didn’t realize intuit turbo tax took 200$ for a charge.. I always use the free edition.. so I don’t what’s going on here. But I need my money
@Rena789 What "rebate" are you saying you did not get? Are you referring to the recovery rebate credit for stimulus payments #1 and/or #2? You only get the EIP payments for yourself and for a child dependent under the age of 17----you do not mention the ages of your niece or your son. If they were older than 16 at the end of 2020 you do not get a stimulus payment for them. Did you get the stimulus for yourself? How old was your niece?
As for being charged for using TurboTax---we cannot see what software you used. You might have started out in the Free Edition but if you entered anything that required the use of any of the three possible schedules that are part of the Form 1040 then you had to upgrade to a paid version of the software. At the end it would have shown you the fees and you had to choose whether to pay upfront or have the fees deducted from your federal refund.
To avoid this for next year, use the IRS Free File site and use a different software:
Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free

Yes for 2020 1040 I submitted thru your service, I did not know I was going to be charged over 200$+ for I had always turbo tax in the past ..now saying that I received a letter from the irs that the 1040 submitted was not filled out right and your service was supposed to make sure something like this would not happen, or your service never would have submitted my form.. so I owe them nothing and they owe me nothing and I’m the only one who gained from this was your service.. I’ve been trying to contact your service unsuccessfully and feel
that either I receive a full return of the fee that was drafted out of my account or at the least a partial.. and I don’t mean the smallest amount possible.. I’ve been using your service for years and I’m asssures this was an accident from who you call your selves professionals
I’m am referring to the rebate over the storm that tragically shut down the entire state of Texas, I’m from Austin and it had nothing to do with the epidemic stymulus package
@Rena789 No one in the user forum has access to your account, nor can we see your tax return. You submitted a self-prepared tax return. The results of that return were calculated based on your own data entries. And you are saying that it was not done correctly. If you owe additional tax due to a miscalculation, you are responsible for paying that tax. If you incurred interest or penalties due to a miscalculation on TurboTax's part, the accuracy guarantee will help with those.
You do not say what was done incorrectly. A LOT of 2020 returns have had mistakes related to the recovery rebate credit. If you were a victim of the TX winter storm, your filing deadline was extended. Not sure what rebate you think you were supposed to get in regard to that storm.
To call TurboTax customer support
https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899263-what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number
Customer support is available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday-Friday.
No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
im very unhappy with you
not only did you over charge me, but you told me that for me to get a refund, it would take weeks, in addition to having to jump through all sorts of hoops
i will dispute the charge once it posts at my bank and i can tell you that all the nice things ive said to people about your product will not occur in the future.
