What seems slow? The IRS did not begin to process returns until January 27.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 20 of your Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
To track your state refund:

On the IRS site you are also offered the use of an app called IRS2Go

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

Yes I am having the same issue.. it is very very slow
What is slow?
DAM TurboTax site is super slow. Never seen this before... I'm trying to enter in donations and the system is taking forever (3-minutes per record to process) this is unreal!
I have not noticed any slow down in processing time for the online or desktop TurboTax products. The issue my be with your computer. I suggest you try clearing the cache on your computer as follows:

Also, you can try logging into TurboTax using a different browser than you usually use. If you have a another computer, you can try using that computer to log into your TurboTax account as well.
This is incredibly slow. Absolutely unusable this year!
I am paying $ to save my time - that takes 500% more of my time.
I will be looking for alternatives.
Last year did not have that problem.

If the website is slow on your end then it is a local problem. It is extremely fast using my system.
It is nothing to do with a local connection. I have a top-notch internet connection and every other website works flawlessly. Please fix your site & databases.
I am having the same problem. The screen kept on spinning.
my internet and computer is fine, I can run FaceTime without problem. TurboTax, please fix your site
You may need to clear your browser's cache and delete the cookies stored on your computer. A full or corrupted cache can keep TurboTax from functioning properly.
Please see the below FAQ for instructions on how to clear the cache and delete cookies.

Also, try refreshing your browser and even try using a different browser if the issue persists. If none of these resolve the issue, please contact Customer Support for further assistance.
I've tried clearing cookies and cache, and also tried Edge and Chrome browsers.
Same issue - each brokerage upload needs 3 attempts and times out - takes several minutes for each page refresh. Says "Hmm, looks like we hit a slight snag in this section"
This is agonizing. Please suggest if this will be fixed soon, or should i use your downloadable Desktop tool instead. I need to submit taxes soon.
Be sure you have enough memory. If you're using a phone, you might not.
I'm using the Desktop version like I do every year and it is extremely slow to accept keystrokes and move between fields while entering W-2Gs for my inlaws. Taking forever! It is not the internet I disconnected from wifi and wired still same problem. It is not my computer I'm in IT, I have a very fast computer Intel i7, with 16GB of RAM, 1TB SSD etc etc.
I'm having the exact same issue with this year's desktop version. I have hundreds of W2-G forms to enter and they're taking almost 10 minutes a piece to enter, due to how slow it is, so it is actually making this process way more time consuming than it needs to be. Tried a bunch of suggestions, but nothing worked. I assumed it was just an issue with my laptop, so I downloaded it onto my work computer and I am still having the same problem. So it is definitely an issue with TurboTax. No idea what to do.
