yes, I am also facing the same, what I observed is they seem to have moved to AWS which's freaking slow. It seems my data is on us-east-2. I think it's an amazon problem that they are throttling turbotax!
Please ASK AWS to FIX IT, I am taking more than a few hours to submit any data!!
I've found that if I switch to forms mode, instead of step-by-step, that I'm able to enter everything quickly that way.
Yeah I have a ton to enter as well and while it takes a while to enter other years, I normally can do 5-10 in the time it takes to do 1 this year... Whoever re-designed this form should be terminated, along with whoever signed off on the QA of this abomination...
This is absolutely insane. I will never use TurboTax again. It's taking me 2 days of entering information and at this speed, another 40+ hours of work. This has never happened so they have done something different to the software. The lapse time is ridiculous!
@MSHINESS I'm not sure why your TurboTax program is working slowly, but in the future it may be advantageous for you to use the desktop version of TurboTax, where everything is on your computer so you don't have much of an issue with internet processing time.

Are you getting an error message? What is happening when you try to file? Please respond back here for someone to follow up with the next steps.
i paid for and downloaded turbo tax i cannot get past where you set up info por paying for state files

i cannot get past the page were you enter your payment information for e fileing to state and federal all i see is a blue line going round and round .waited tor several hours no change.so i guess i will print out the returns that i am doing and send them in. unless i get some straight answers i most likely will not use turbo tax next year

My TT 2021 deluxe is slow to respond and I don't trust it to file my taxes. I've been a user for ten years and never seen this poor of a release. PLEASE DON'T SUGGEST I CLEAR MY CACHE OR TELL ME HOW GREAT YOUR WORKS, WE'RE TRYING TO TROUBLESHOOT OUR CURRENT PROBLEM
Turbo Tax is so slow and intuit blames everyone and everything else other than their software and service.
I have the download version, and TT spins for 10-20 seconds every time I tab / click to the next field. I am watching my system resources - CPU, memory, network, all are fine. It is borderline unusable.
Reading some of the past entries here, I feel that some have been mis-read and refer to this field to field slowness.
TurboTax - Any update here? Thanks!
