INTUIT is holding my significant tax return.  After speaking to the IRS two different times I learned that the IRS pays INTUIT our refund.  Then INTUIT pays us.  INTUIT has been sitting on my refund from the IRS since May 5, 2021.  What a complete SCAM.  I will NEVER use TurboTax again.  We need to boycott this company!  WHERE IS MY MONEY INTUIT?????

TurboTax does not receive any kind of tax refund, federal or state.

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

For the status of your tax refund you will need to contact the third party processor, Santa Barbara Tax Product Group, using their website - https://www.sbtpg.com/

Where’s my federal refund?

Intuit and Turbo Tax does not receive refunds or touch your money.

Are you having the fees deducted from your refund?  Then it goes through another bank first to take the fees out.

Where’s my federal refund?

OK thank you so much for this information.  My apologies for the accusations.

Where’s my federal refund?

I keep checking the IRS website and I am being told that my refund is still being processed after all these months. I did agree to pay turbo tax from my refund. but of course your company is saying they will deduct the payment although I have received nothing from the IRS, My last paycheck goes in on the 25th and that's it for the summer. It would be nice to know what's up with my refund, why am I paying for a job that is incomplete.

Where’s my federal refund?

me too. I inquired about this 2 weeks ago, as well as the fact that I never ever would have selected any option but the cheapest! I spoke to them on the phone 2 Fridays ago and was told a form would be emailed to me to undo this. All I’ve received is a survey to fill out regarding my satisfaction with the call…now I am overdrawn and feeling juvenile -_-

Where’s my federal refund?

Turbo did their part it's the IRS that hasn't done their part. We been waiting for 4 months now. The IRS said it could be August before we get our refund. Yet they can get all these child credits out soon but can't complete those refunds that has been sitting there since Feb.

Where’s my federal refund?

You folks that thinks that turbo has our refunds is so far off wrong. The IRS is telling lies.

Where’s my federal refund?

WHY IRS would tell such a lie is beyond me.  The IRS has our money and isn't willing to give it to us and using lots of lies to keep it.

Where’s my federal refund?

If we owed money they sure would be on our case to pay it but different when they owe us.

Where’s my federal refund?

Since the IRS is holding most of our refunds since we filed, which for us it's been since Feb., turbo still has to be paid. Not turbo's fault that the IRS won't get our refunds to us. Yet if we owed taxes they would be on our ass to pay them.

Where’s my federal refund?

It’s clear they are understaffed and shouldn’t be adding to the burden without  getting staffing in order. Internet search your representatives, call and leave messages. Their staff does listen and take notes on what is being said. If everyone here would make a few calls it could make a difference at least in the future.

Where’s my federal refund?

I wonder if they will pay everyone interest on their money since we are all losing the interest. LOL , I’m only kidding, we all know that would never happen. Just will be happy when we get it and I can file all my paperwork away.

Yes, they have been paying interest.

In fact, there have been reports here, and elsewhere, of taxpayers receiving interest.
