It says my refund has been sent to be deposited in my account but it has not hit my account yet

When the IRS releases the refund it will be posted and then if you used the third party processing bank to have the TT fees paid from the fed refund  and then the balance is sent to your bank.

@Petey666 This is a long thread full of posts by multiple users.  We have no context or background for your issue.  You have not mentioned how long ago the IRS says your refund was issued.  Was it days, weeks, or months ago?

@Panandacorn What does it say about your refund on the IRS site?

TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2022 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

To track your state refund:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1901548-why-do-some-refunds-take-longer-than-others

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait.   It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns.   Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.

Sbtpg says they dispersed through direct deposit but when I clicked on the drop down for the dispersement, it says it was a cashier's check. My bank has no record of a deposit as of the 11th. Sbtpg says it sent it on the 9th. Any thoughts or ideas as to what this could be?

If they mailed out a check it could take the post office several days to get it to you.

in the same boat -      Quick question. I filed my federal taxes and it was accepted on February 16th. When I check the IRS website it says my refund was sent to my bank electronically or mailed to my bank electronically on March 10th. It is now March 22nd and I have not received my refund? I was wondering if anyone had any information it says I cannot contact the IRS until early April. But I was unsure if this could be a hold up because the bank information was wrong? Which I doubt because my state refund went through so I am wondering what other possibilities there could be when it says they had sent the information to my bank and the refund has been sent?

You should contact your bank to inquire about your refund. If a deposit has not been attempted, then you should contact the IRS to inquire about your refund. Please see How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)? for more information, including the IRS phone number and hours of operation.

If you would like to verify the direct deposit information you entered, please see Where can I find my direct deposit account information after I've e-filed? for instructions.

Did you choose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund?  Is your refund taking an unusually long time to arrive?  Or was your refund seized to pay a debt you owed? if so, you signed an agreement that says TT can withdraw its fees from your account.  TurboTax would have sent several emails to you before they took the money out of your account.
