So I can finish 2020 Tax Return
i can’t seem to sign in.
Make sure you are logged in using the same User ID you used to prepare your tax return last year. See the link below to determine if you have any other User IDs linked to your account.
If you prepared your tax returns using TurboTax online, you can use the link below for steps on how to access your returns.
Accessing prior year tax returns in TurboTax online
If you used the desktop version of the software, you will not find your returns using the link above as those would have been saved on your own computer. Please see the link below for more information.

@denkim2021 There are about 50 posts on this old thread. We cannot tell who you are trying to reply or respond to. We do not know what you are saying you "can't" do. What are you trying to do? If you explain we will try to help.
I need my 2019 tax return to find my AGI for my 2020 taxes. My old computer broke and does not conect to the internet. My new computer cannot open my old files.
Do you only have the .tax2019 file and not the pdf? You need the 2019 program installed to open it.
Or You could try the TaxPrinter service to convert a .tax file to pdf at
They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth. They are not related to Turbo Tax.

How can I find out if my 2019 Federal tax accept?
Sorry, Online for 2019 and prior is closed now so you can not start a new 2019 or prior return or finish one. Online is only for 2020. Oct 15, was the last day to efile. 2019 is now the prior year. If you entered 2019 into the 2020 online version you should clear out your online return so you can use it for 2020.

You can only buy the download for prior years. You have to buy a separate program for each year. They only sell the last 3 years. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install it on. Buy the download here
https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. You have 3 years to file for a refund. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
If you want to file for free you can fill out the forms by hand. Here are some basic forms…..
Here is the IRS 2019 Form 1040
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040--2019.pdf
or if you want bigger type use 1040SR for Seniors,
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s--2019.pdf
And 2019 Instructions https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040gi--2019.pdf
2019 Tax and EIC Tables
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/i1040tt--2019.pdf
Sch 1 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s1--2019.pdf

Sch 3 : https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-prior/f1040s3--2019.pdf
Then when you do file 2020 enter 0 for the 2019 AGI since you are filing 2019 late.
I have links for other years too.
It's too late to use Turbo Tax for 2016 or to claim a refund from the IRS.

Where do I go online to get a copy of my State and Federal tax returns?
@ lilillouie wrote:Where do I go online to get a copy of my State and Federal tax returns?
Were they prepared in Online TurboTax? And for what tax year? This thread title mentions "2019", so since you chose this thread, I'll assume that is the tax year you are trying to find. Any returns prepared in desktop software (CD/download) will not be in an Online TurboTax account.
Also see the 2 methods and video here first:
FAQ: How do I access my prior year return?
When you log into TurboTax for the first time this year, you may not yet have the Tax Home tab and Documents tab visible in the left menu column. If they're not there, then you may have to first proceed a little further by answering some preliminary screens and may even need to choose a 2020 product to get them to appear (you are not obligated to use it.) Once you continue far enough to have those tabs, here are a couple of ways to get to the prior returns:
You can click on Documents in the left menu and then a dropdown list of years should appear. Choose the year, and then way off to the right of the screen, you should see a link to download the PDF. If that didn't work, here's another method:
Go to the Tax Home. Scroll down the Tax Home page to the section "Your Tax Returns & Documents." Expand that section and choose the tax year you want. Then you can choose to "Download/print the PDF", or if you just need the 2019 AGI, then once you choose 2019 there should be a link to "View adjusted gross income (AGI.)"
If you do all that, but there's no evidence of prior returns in that section "Your Tax Returns & Documents", then you likely have multiple accounts and signed into the wrong one. Many people end up with multiple accounts.
You can have up to 5 accounts that use the same email address for notification purposes. A User ID may be an email address, but it doesn't have to be. It might be only part of an email address, or it can be anything at all.
To get a list of your User IDs, reset password, and recover account access, etc., you can use the tool at the link below. When using the Account Recovery tool, try using your phone number first if you can still access it. After that, if necessary, then run the tool on your email address(es) you can access.
NOTE: Before running the account recovery tool below, log out of all Intuit accounts including this user forum, or you might end up in a loop. Then clear your browser Internet cache, close your browser, then reopen it, and go to the link below. You may wish to copy this link so you can paste it into the new browser session.
https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery
If still no luck after running that on your phone number you can still access and email address(es) that you can access, here's another method:
Go back to the tool again, but this time leave the data field blank, scroll down a bit, then choose the small blue link that says "Try something else", and it will look you up by SSN and other parameters.
