I haven’t received my refund yet and I filed back in March. And I always filed direct deposit so what’s taking so long?

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?
Only the IRS and your State control when and if a Federal or State tax refund is Approved and Issued.
You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large Orange button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Note - Once a tax return has been Accepted by the IRS or a State, TurboTax receives no further information concerning the tax return or the status of any tax refund. Only the taxpayer listed on the tax return can obtain the status of a tax refund or a tax return.
To check the status of an e-filed return, open up your desktop product or log into your TurboTax Online Account. You can find your status within the TurboTax product.
If accepted by the IRS use the federal tax refund website to check the refund status - https://www.irs.gov/refunds
If accepted by the state use this TurboTax support FAQ to check the state tax refund status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899433-how-do-i-track-my-state-refund
After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.
Go to this IRS website for the status of filed tax returns in 2022 - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-during-covid-19-mission-critical-functions-continue
As of September 9, 2022, we had 7.2 million unprocessed individual returns received this year. These include tax year 2021 returns and late filed prior year returns. Of these, 1.6 million returns require error correction or other special handling, and 5.6 million are paper returns waiting to be reviewed and processed. This work does not typically require us to correspond with taxpayers, but does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund.
How long you may have to wait: We continue to process tax returns that need to be manually reviewed due to errors. For returns received in the current year, we process individual tax returns for which refunds are due first. Tax returns reflecting tax owed are processed last, but if a payment is mailed with the tax return, the payment is separated upon receipt and deposited to ensure the taxpayer account is credited for the payment.
As the return is processed, whether it was filed electronically or on paper, it may be delayed because it has a mistake, is missing information, or there is suspected identity theft or fraud. If we can fix it without contacting you, we will. If we need more information or need you to verify you sent the tax return, we will send you a letter. The resolution of these issues could take more than 120 days depending on how quickly and accurately you respond, and how quickly we can complete the processing of your return. Taxpayers are encouraged to check Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.
What you should do: In most instances, no further action is needed. Whether you filed electronically or by paper, we will contact you by mail if we need more information or if we made a change to your return. If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to take any further action other than promptly responding to any requests for information. If you are due a refund, filed on paper more than six months ago, and Where’s My Refund? does not have any information about the status of your return, you should resubmit your tax return, electronically if possible. Make sure it includes an original signature, and include all documents submitted with the original return. Otherwise, please do not file your tax return again. Check Where’s My Refund?, or view your account for possible updates.
I can't get ahold of irs do they deposit each day any hour
It's been7 months no check
The time your refund posts to your account will depend on what your own bank does.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
Funny. On Friday my refund hit my bank this morning 4am but IRS Refund App still doesn’t show my refund has been sent.
The WMR tool can lag in being updated ... sometimes it is days behind. Sometimes the tool may never acknowledge the deposit ... it is not perfect.
And....if you got your refund.....be happy.
Have anyone received a taxes yet for Wednesday January 23rd 2023
what time will my refund hit it says its scheduled wednsday march 29th
Once the IRS releases the refund your bank still must accept and post the deposit ... so when you will see this happen will depend on your bank's timing ... ask your bank if you don't see it in a couple of days.
My date is today and I haven’t gotten mine.
While you do get a date from the Internal Revenue Service as to when your refund should be available, they do not specify exact times. If you have a deposit date of today and have not received your refund yet, be patient.
There are no fixed times or hours when you can receive your 2024 tax refund during the 2025 Tax Season.
Additionally, each bank varies on when they post direct deposits. Even if your bank "usually" posts direct deposits at a certain time, they may handle Tax Refunds differently. Some banks might post once in the morning and once in the afternoon, only one time a day, and some may instantly.
In the Community, we do not have access to your TurboTax account and can not tell you where your refund is or why you do not have your deposit yet.
If your refund date has passed and you have not received your refund, it may be that your direct deposit, for a variety of reasons, was not able to be completed and your refund is coming as a paper check to the address on your return.
