You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

SAVE YOUR TAX RETURN !
EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records. That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

I can see all the years at the bottom but as soon as I click on a past year, this is the message I get when trying to click on Download Tax Return.
Download your past TurboTax returns
Looks like you didn't file with us last year or you filed using a TurboTax product that doesn't include access to prior-year returns.
To download your prior-year TurboTax returns, just get started with your 2020 tax return in the TurboTax product that's right for you.

You may have to start a 2020 tax return before the links on the Tax Home web page become available. In that case start the 2020 tax return with the User ID you used for the 2019 return. Once some basic information has been transferred over, Tax Home should be visible on the left column. Click on Tax Home and then the other links will be shown as in this screenshot.
To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
This did not work. The link still doesn't work.
This is an old thread. Do you need help accessing your tax return from last year? If so, you can access your return by logging in using the same TurboTax account that you used to file your previous return. Please see How do I view, download, or print a prior-year return? for instructions.
If you just need your AGI, you can also get it by obtaining an online tax return transcript from the IRS. Please see Can I get a copy of my tax return from the IRS? for more information.
This old problem still exists in the same way and it's because TurboTax requires you to pay for a another tax service to see your old tax returns. I found that answer elsewhere online and it's why me and others are leaving the predatory site.
you have to start a current year tax return before the links on the Tax Home web page become available. In that case start the tax return with the User ID you used for the prior year return. Once some basic information has been transferred over, Tax Home should be visible on the left column with a full menu. Click on Tax Home and then the other links will available for the prior years.
