Can I get a copy of my tax return from the IRS?

Taxpayers can either request a tax return transcript or order a full copy of a previously-filed return from the IRS.

The fastest option is to request an online tax return transcript, which you can view, download, and print. Alternatively, you can request a transcript by mail.

Transcripts include most line items from your return, like your AGI. They're available for tax years 2020 through 2024 at no cost.
