If you e-filed an incomplete tax return @Bsess, you can change it if it is rejected. Otherwise you will have to amend.

For instructions see How to amend (change or correct) a return you've already filed. If you do not see instructions for 2021, it means the 2021 amend section is not ready yet.

If you are filing a state return, you may have to amend state as well.
