So it's a month later from the original post, but I want to report that Turbotax 2020n will not open on my iMac. I uninstalled the software application and deleted all of the related files in the hidden library and then reinstalled Turbotax 2020. It launched but generated an error window and then quit. It just won't work.

Exactly was does the error message say?
What version of OSX is your Mac on?
A few bounces is usually a crash and there should be crash information in the Utilities -> Console application.
Thank you for replying. A couple notes:
<Exactly was does the error message say?>.
It vanished too quickly for me to read it, and it doesn't reappear on subsequent attempts to open Turbotax. But I think it was something to the effect that "an error occurred" which would be reported.
<What version of OSX is your Mac on?>.
Big Sur 11.2, iMac 2020 with 27inch retina display.

I am having the exact same problem on my MAC. I am running Catalina 10.15.7. Has Turbo Tax been able to correct this yet?

That would be a local issue on your computer.
What happens when you try to open it?
Have you rebooted the Mac?
I'm wondering if they fixed the software bug. I downloaded it a couple of days ago from TurboTax directly.
When I try to open it now, the program tries to run, but then immediately stops. No error message. I note that it was opening a couple of days ago, but would give open up a dialog box to report an error. Since the program continued to open, I didn't bother with the error report. The last time it did this, I did report the error. Since then, I can't open it at all. (I also think that the software had some glitches since I when I was able to get the program to open & put in my info, it was definitely not correctly filling out the forms.
I have rebooted my MAC & it didn't help.
I am thinking I will try to get a refund and just do the on-line version. Seems like that might be more up-to-date.
I have TurboTax Home Business 2020 download version from Amazon on macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. More than 80% of the time, the LEARN MORE, MORE EXAMPLES, etc., the hyperlink popup screens do not come up after clicking them on the file that I have been working on (they work when I start a new return). Can anyone tell me if I can get it to work properly by deleting any files from the Library? Cache or something? Right now it's like a blind trying to walk on the street without guides. I need to have more information from LEARN MORE and MORE EXAMPLES to make sure I am doing the return correctly.
Thank you so much!
@VMOO You may try clearing your cache and deleting your cookies and see what happens.

The poster is using the desktop version.

Can you give me some examples of links that do not open?

I have not seen reports of that before.
You can restart the Mac and see if that helps or a total uninstall and re-install of the software and associated files.
That will not delete or change any .tax2019 data file that had already been created with the tax data.
To uninstall the application and all associated files need to be deleted and then the application reinstalled. If there was a state then the state must also be reinstalled.
Here is a FAQ for how to uninstall Mac

Also if present remove: ~Library/Caches/KSCrash/TurboTax

Thank you so much for your help, EbonyA.
The hyperlink does not work after I removed the cache folder (there are no cookies to delete in the library). I uninstalled the program, removing related files in the library, and reinstalled the software, still the same. The hyperlink only works when I start a new return, but not on the file that I have been working on. I have MacBook Retina 2017, Big Sur version 11.2.3.
Again what link does not work?
And what do you mean when you start a new return? You do not get to any help links if you are not working on a return.
I will test it and if a bug will report it.
Thank you so much for your help, Mauser_22.
I uninstalled, removed files in the library, and reinstalled the software earlier but no difference. I didn't remove the ~Library/Caches/KSCrash/TurboTax earlier, maybe that is the problem. I will repeat the process later to see if it makes any difference. Here are the examples of the hyperlinks that I am referring to. I have MacBook Retina 2017, Big Sur version 11.2.3.
