Tax refund lost 9002.00. I'mad.
You need to provide more details and post them here.
Otherwise, you can contact phone support via the link below.
@muebelhe With no details from you at all, we have no way to help. What do you mean by "tax refund lost?"
I TRIED to file my 2020 tax return but there was always a billing issue. Now since I missed the deadline I can't even find my 2020 tax return!!
I need my filled tax return for 2017 to be reviewed a CPA. The state sys I owe another $4000.
Then you will need to take it to a local CPA.
Most CPAs don't do taxes ... seek out an Enrolled Agent.
@bethhall22 You have to access your return using exactly the account and user ID you used when you prepared it. Then...if you need to add/change anything, you have to purchase and download the desktop software to make the changes. If you do not have any changes to make then you just have to pay for your software fees, print the returns, sign in ink and mail them in.
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

Online tax preparation and e-filing for 2020 returns is now permanently closed. Now it is too late to use online software or to e-file. If you have any changes/corrections at all to make to your 2020 return, you now have to complete it using desktop software, which you must download to a full PC or Mac (not to a mobile device). Then you need to print, sign and mail it.
If you already paid for your online software you can ask customer support for a download of the desktop software.
They are available from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific time Monday-Friday.

If you are getting a refund, there is no penalty for filing late. If you owe tax due, then file and pay the amount due as shown on the Form 1040, but expect a bill later from the IRS for the penalty and interest you will owe. Only the IRS will calculate this—TurboTax will not calculate it.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
I filed my unemployment tax return and then Joe Biden passed the bill. I want to know when am I going to get my refund?
The IRS is still working on those corrected returns ... hopefully they will get them all done by the end of the year. But do you have anything coming ....
1) You will get an additional federal income tax refund for the unemployment exclusion if all of the following are true.
If all four of those conditions are true, The IRS will recalculate your tax return and send you an additional refund.
The IRS is still sending out refunds for the unemployment exclusion. They expect to continue through the December. It could end up taking longer than they expected. There is no way to tell when you will get your refund.
2) DO NOT amend your tax return. The IRS has clearly said that you should not amend unless the exclusion makes you eligible for a new credit that is not already on your tax return.
3) TurboTax does not get any information from the IRS about your additional refund for the unemployment exclusion. If you open your tax return in TurboTax you might see that TurboTax has recalculated the return to include the unemployment exclusion. But that has nothing to do with what the IRS is doing. It’s just a calculation that TurboTax makes.
Form 1040 lines 25b and 25d have nothing to do with the refund for the unemployment exclusion.
Here is the latest update from the IRS about refunds for the unemployment exclusion.
IRS issues another 430,000 refunds for adjustments related to unemployment compensation
