My IRS AGI and my TurboTax AGI are the same as the AGI I entered in my security clearing/signature. My return keeps getting rejected.
When did you file 2018? If it was late in the year try putting in zero for the AGI. And see, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-ge...
If your spouse died during 2019 there is a problem efiling and you will have to mail your return

If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it.

Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Or. Use H&R Block’s website and file there. Worked for me and obviously a lot faster than mailing (please see my post on this thread from several weeks ago).
It still baffles me why TT (Intuit) continues to ignore an issue that is theirs and NOT the IRS!!!
Exact same problem; had the same problem last year. My spouse is NOT deceased and I pulled the AGI straight from the IRS transcript. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN TURBO TAX. Have used for 10+ years. NO MORE!
I got the incorrect AGI message so I printed the return and physically mailed it. We did not get anything yet and it has been 8 weeks, when checking with IRS online, it indicated e-file rejected, I fear it is because we mailed it but is it because I did not click the checkbox to state that i was filing manually?
What do I do now?
Yes your efile Rejected, not the mailed return.
They are not processing mailed returns right now. The mail is stacking up in trailers at the IRS.

I did get a copy of my tax return transcript and it matches what I used when I submitted my return. Still will not accept it.

Nothing worked that I tried in this support group. I tried it all multiple times. Finally, I left the box unchecked to say that my spouse had passed away last year. This is not asked for on the actual tax return that is submitted to IRS. If you print out your return and mail it, there is nowhere on the return to indicate that your spouse is no longer living.
I filed without providing that information and both federal and state returns were accepted immediately via eFile.
Then I went back in to my return to check the box that my spouse had passed away during 2019, so my return would have that information for next year if I decide to use Turbo Tax again.
I found out how to avoid getting that error message! My FIL passed away last year. My MIL is the surviving spouse. I kept getting the error message when I e-filed that many people have posted about. I switched the order of the two names, to put my MIL first, and the return was accepted! I was able to keep the deceased box checked for my FIL and I put "widowed" for my MIL. Yay! Didn't have to submit by paper!

Thank you so so so much .. it’s finally solved after I reordered my brother’s data “who passed away in January this year”, with my sis in law.
i can’t thank you enough .. and yes, TT experts should know and say this!
