I bought a turbotax license code. How do I use it?

Did you buy a License Code for the Desktop download OR for the Online version?   Some retailers are selling the Online product.

How to use the Online License Code.  It is for federal only. State is additional.

@linken5152   Are you using the Desktop download or the Online version?  Have you downloaded the program?

I Purchase a TurboTax product and I am having difficulty locating where to install on my computer, the system is telling me to login to my account upon logging in to my account it does not direct me how to activate the license code.

A license is not needed if you are using any of the online versions—contact support for a refund. If you are using any of the desktop app, you need to download it from your account - under products and billing. Once downloaded double click on the downloaded file. As the app installs,  it will ask for the license code.
