Data entry blocked

When I hit NEXT, the page appears blank. I go back to WAGES AND INCOME and go forward and the page appears. When I get to SOCIAL SECURITY INCOME, a hit update and the screen is blank. All START and UPDATE buttons produce blank screens.

If you are using the desktop editions, click on Forms.

When in Forms mode locate the Social Security Benefits Worksheet (Social Sec) on the left side of the page. Click on Social Sec to open. At the bottom of the page click on Delete Form and then go back to the interview, click on Step-by-Step at the top right. Enter your SSA-1099

To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button

Blank screens are usually caused by software that needs to be updated.

If you are using TurboTax Online log out from your account and check your browser's settings (clear your cache and cookies.)

If you are using TurboTax Desktop make sure the software is updated, reboot your computer and be sure they aren't blocking any feature of the software How do I get started with TurboTax Desktop?
