Does not answer the question.

According to the article, the forms were ready by Feb 3,and it looks like they are done as my return passes until the electronic filing.

  1. Are you using the TurboTax CD/Download software?  If so, please perform a manual update and then commence with e-filing.
  2. If you are still receiving this message, it could be due to your return containing forms that are not supported for e-file.  Check here to look for state forms included in your return.  Then, check the E-file column to see if shows "unsupported."

I also am having the exact same issue. This happened last year as well and no one could help me. I waited about a week and changed nothing and then it all of a sudden went through. Would prefer not to have to wait this year out again for me to file.

I am using the downloaded version and keep updating manually each time. Nothing recommended so far (please see full string above) has worked. The same suggestions keep being made.

If you have tried all the above suggestions and they aren't working, I would suggest reaching out to TurboTax customer support for assistance

Unfortunately help seems to be just an recording that sends you links to this forum which does not help. How do I get to a real person?

FYI I have now spent over 475 minutes on this forum trying to get an answer.

So how great is TurboTax?

I think that after all my efforts, TT should have the simple courtesy of having someone contact me to resolve the problem.

@HeatherPLO I do not have form 8582 generating at all for my return therefore that notice is not helpful to me.  I am attempting to efile a business Partnership tax return on the downloadable TT Business version.

I agree, I have spent almost 3 hours now trying to fix things and look things up and can't seem to speak to anyone to help me out

Solved this. For me it was the State return causing issue. I just select to E-File federal only and it went through no problem. My State NC apparently hasn't updated everything yet so e-file won't be available until later this month.
