If there is not a list of what things we as consumers of this product can troubleshoot when this odd error message prompts us, I will just file by mail. Like I said before, when software is written you have to code in triggers that would prompt this error message. Therefore a list of possible "issues" should exist somewhere.
If I wanted to call or chat, I would've just went to H&R Block from the beginning. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of turbo tax. Been a TT user for personal and business for 10+ years now, but it seems the quality of the program has degraded quite a bit.
Could it have anything to do from the error I received last year? Pretty much same issue, yet different words that no one from TT could give me an answer to lol... Then all the sudden a few days go by, and bam, it's fixed?
When you call you get an AI program that send you a text or email pointing you to a discussion thread that isn't even relevant.
Did it to me 3 times! Don't even know how to get through to a person.
You are correct about finally needing to find another program to do you taxes. I have been a loyal customer for at least 10 years.
Wow, well thanks for going through that pain for me Chirag so I don't waste time doing the same thing! This is crazy!! What's the point of these discussion threads if all they do is reply to you with a phone # to a robot?
If nothing else, they should give you a way to send them a sanitized file some real person can look at.
I guess they think we should be happy earning all those points for using the discussion thread. 🤣😜
