I accidentally threw away the 14 character activation code after installing turbotax. How can I retrieve my code from my install copy? Is it stored in the registry?

Sorry, you need to call in and get another code.  It is not anywhere you can find on your computer.  Where is the License Code?

Are you installing the CD for the first time?  Or is it asking you to re activate it again?  

Make sure your computer is the same way when you originally installed it.  Like with no flash drives plugged in or plugged in if one was.  It asked me again so I just closed the program and took out a flash drive that was plugged in and tried again.  It worked.  Or you may need to connect a flash drive or printer or something that was connected when you originally installed the program.  One person found to disable his virus scanner and firewall first and then it opened.

I BOUGHT A CD FROM AMZON AND THREW AWAY THE CODE IS THERE ANY WAY TO GET THIS REACTIVATED AS I HAD TO GET A NEW COMPUTER AND EVERYTHING WAS ON THE OLD ONE

@dubkelley What code are you asking for?   No one in the user forum has access to any codes you might need.  Are you asking for the license code for the CD/download?   Are you asking for a verification code so you can e-file?   Something else?
