Hi
I filed my taxes for 2022 on March 1st, 2023 with Turbo tax. I already got my State refund and I owed money for my Federal and the balance is still not showing up on the IRS website. It just says: "Your Information Is Not Available at This Time". How much longer do I need to wait to see the balance and is there a phone number to contact them about this issue?.

"I owed money....." Did you pay the amount you owed? Why are you waiting to see a balance?
No, I didn't pay yet, because I wanted to make payment arrangements. Last year I run into the same issue where I paid some of the money I owed and it was all returned to me because IRS told me they had no balance yet.
@shahdad7 The deadline to pay the IRS the tax owed was April 18, 2023, so now your payment is late. Did you make arrangements or apply for a payment plan?
If you have federal tax due you can pay by mailing your payment with the 1040V voucher, (which has the address printed on it, having the payment taken out of a designated bank account, or you can pay directly on the IRS website.

Thanks but I don't think you read my post or question carefully. ? I know everything you have stated.
I have already gone to the IRS website, I have an account there with all my previous tax records and transcripts including 2022 that shows, but the amount I owe for 2022 is NOT there, it says " "Your Information Is Not Available at This Time".
I its been over a month and 30 days since I filed my taxes and I just want to know why my balance has NOT shown up on the IRS website?. I can see the transcript for 2022 and on one of them its says "returned not filed yet"? So there is something that IRS is missing from when I filed my taxes with Turbo tax on March 1st and the IRS hasn't gotten it yet?

Ok ... the IRS doesn't start processing returns with balance dues on them until after the 4/18 filing deadline (no matter when they were filed) so if you are waiting on the IRS bill to come in the mail or for the online account to populate to confirm your balance due that may not happen for a few weeks at this time. You can be proactive and put in for a payment plan now or wait for them to send you the form 9465 in the mail. Just remember the "juice" is running so the longer you take to pay it off the more it will cost you. https://www.irs.gov/payments
FYI, in 2021 I sent two checks to IRS for what I owed right after I filed my taxes and they were all returned to me. I called the IRS and spoke to someone and he said they had not gotten to my taxes and what I owed yet. Even though I tried to get ahead of it to "be proactive" and my checks were returned.
If you sent in payments but they did not get the actual return then after a time they will send a notice asking what to do with that payment and if you don't respond by sending them the return they will refund it in time. If they send the 2021 payment back to you then you really need to confirm that they did get the 2021 returns as all of those (even mailed in returns) have been processed by now.
Thank you but if you read my first I have been trying to confirm that the IRS for my 2022 taxes and I have not been able to? I have tried calling them and all I get is prompts that go no where. On the IRS web site there is nothing about 2022 and says still pending, but the transcript shows they have my return and what I owe. If you happen to know a working phone number that you can actually reach a person at IRS please let me know?. I don't have a problem sending advanced payments but I did that before and it was returned to me.
Thank you
On the IRS website they don't use the term "pending" ... so does it say it is still processing? If the transcripts have the 2022 return listed then eventually it will be processed. Balance due returns can take a few weeks/months to be processed since the IRS gives first priority to those with refunds on them. The return transcript will always show the return as having a balance due on it ... review the ACCOUNT transcripts to see the payment being applied. If you did not pay with the return then the IRS will eventually bill you . You can pay directly online if you want to get ahead of the bill ... www.IRS.gov/pay
We’re my tax so I can print my first account with my refund of 2,975
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Start a 2022 return online and enter some personal information so that the menu on the left opens up and lets you access your past year returns.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
