Can't Login to intuit from the desktop app

Is anyone having a problem with the "sign in" function on the desktop app?  Whether I access from the "file" menu or from any other point in the SFW - I get a white screen popup without login and password prompts.  I called this in but, still have not received any reply and I NEED to continue my taxes.

[rebooted PC, reloaded TurboTax, got latest updates...nothing worked]

You do not "log in" when you use the desktop software.  You open the program from your own hard drive, just like you open up other programs that are on your computer.  Did you download the software and update it?  Did you enter the license code?  From then on, no "logging on."      "logging on" is something you do to use online TurboTax, not desktop.

Yes, same problem.  It will not let me populate the login fields or the entire window is greyed out.  Signing in to Intuit is required for certain functions of the desktop software.  Tried reinstalling TurboTax, no help.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by follow the process above.

If you are referring to the answer that xmasbaby0 gave then, Yes I have downloaded, updated, entered license, rebooted...its all in my post and I have already contacted support...that is in my post also...and Yes there is a "sign in" that is required for certain functions within the "desktop" version of TurboTax.  There is even a "sign in" option under the File menu.  Am I missing something?

Problem solved:  There was a conflicting app on my machine.  In my case it was the Microsoft PowerToys utility.  I was able to sign-in once the app was removed.   Good luck.

Getting a similar issue but I get the login screen go through password and then it churns for about 30seconds and then errors out saying you cannot be logged in.
