You purchased the product twice--a download and a CD?    You shouldn't have had to do that.  Why did you end up with both, and who did you purchase the two products from?   Did you purchase both products directly from TurboTax, or did you use an authorized retailer like Amazon, Best Buy, Staples, Costco, Sams, etc.?

@robert10401040 Do you mean the license code for 2021 software?   No one will be filing a 2022 tax return until next year in 2023 when tax year 2022 is over.

License codes are only used with TurboTax desktop software for the current tax year, 2021, and prior tax years, 2020 and 2019.  License codes are not used with the TurboTax online editions.

@tracyha16  Did you use the Online browser version or buy and install the Desktop program?  You only need a License Code for the Desktop program.  The License Code started with the 2019 program.
