@tootscwms1 Do you need a blank one? The 1040 SR is just your regular tax return you file each year. When you are over 65 they added a 1040SR. It is the same as the regular 1040 but just has bigger type for us older people. Nobody sends you the 1040SR, you fill it out.
Or here is a blank one from the IRS
@tootscwms1 Oh....and just so you know---the 1040SR has bigger type but the other forms are just the same size font as always. So if you have any trouble with small print like I do, keep your magnifying glass handy.
@Critter-3 I meant the worksheets, etc.
IRS needs stuff of my last years 1040 and I don’t have it I need help getting it because I tried everywhere and I’m paying more for filing my taxes this year I did my taxes last year through you
How to access prior online returns
You have to log in to the same account. You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2021 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2021.
@eserfes What "stuff" are you trying to get from your 2020 tax return? Do you mean your 2020 AGI so you can e-file 2021?
You have to access your own account and/or print it for yourself using exactly the same account and user ID that you used when you prepared the return.
Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

How do I select to file on form 1040-SR

The same way you file a Form 1040. In the File section of the program when you select to e-file you will come to a screen that has a large button labeled "Transmit my returns now".
The 1040SR is the same as the regular 1040 just bigger type so it prints on 3 pages instead of 2. When you efile only the tax data gets transmitted not the form it's on.
When you print it will print on the 1040SR even if you see only the 1040 on the screen. You automatically get the 1040SR if you or your spouse is 65 or older. In the Desktop program you can tell it which one to print.
There is a check box on the Federal Information Worksheet right under home phone # that you can print 1040 instead of 1040 SR
