Why do you ask? Did you get a letter from the IRS? What tax year are you referring to? Did you receive your Form 1095-A?
A Form 8962 can only be generated after the Form 1095-A has been entered.
Yes I recieved a letter after I already file didn't k ow I was to include health insurance statement
Did you received a letter from the IRS requesting just this form? If so, here is how to get the form 8962 filled out. Please note: You are NOT going to amend your return and you are NOT going to add a state return. These directions are quirky but will get the job done.
The IRS may adjust your refund once they receive your form 8962.

What tax year does the letter reference?
Where do you go to print the form once youve entered the info? Since my 2019 isnt ready to amend yet and i have to file this
When you enter form 1095-A, turbo tax will automatically generate form 8962.
To print the form, select Tax Tools from the menu then select Print Center.
Hello,
where do you go to print it? I followed the steps but the 8962 for isnt in the tax return pfd.
First, make sure you follow the instructions below to generate form 8962.
Instead of choosing the "Print forms required for filing" select "All forms, worksheets and schedules" or try the various printing options. Once you have the PDF, select form 8962 and print it.
When you're done in TurboTax, you'll need to print out form 8962 and mail or fax it to the IRS, along with any other items requested in their letter (IRS Letter 0012c).
If there's a change to your refund amount or the amount you owe, you'll need to print and send page 1 of your 1040.

I received a letter from the IRS asking for 1095A and 8962. I followed another employees instructions for creating the 8962 form through turbo tax and successfully printed it. It did state briefly while I was editing and adding my 1095A to create the 8962 that my refund amount lessened by 18 dollars. When I went to print my whole tax return (nothing was amended or changed obviously), my tax return amounts have not changed in the 1040. Is it still necessary to print page 1 of the 1040 if it didn't state a change in refund on there?
No, it is not necessary to print Page 1 of the 1040. The letter you received specifically says that all they want is the 8962 and 1095-A. They will automatically adjust your return to account for the $18.
