I am using TurboTax Premier 2021 online. I have read many threads on the difficulties of importing ItsDeductible date. Here is my difficulty. When I get to the screen that asks "Do you have an account with ItsDeductible online?", I click "Yes". The next screen says, "Choose the charitable deductions you want to import." However, no charities are listed for me to choose from. If I click the "Import Now" button, the next page says I made "No Import Selection." Well, of course I didn't, there was nothing to select from.
Any resolution?

Still no resolution...
This may or may not be yoru situation.
..BUT...Something that the "Online" software users miss is that the ItsDeductible account you are attempting to import from? The UserID and Pwd must be exactly the same as your Online TTX software account that you are attempting to import it into. IF your ItsDeductible UserID/pwd is different...then you can't import that Charity data.
Only the desktop software allows you to import from any ItsDeductible UserID/pwd account.
Thank you, still not working. I see the same messages. By the way, when using premiere online it does not ask me if I use ItsDeductible unless I put "donations" in the search window, do the search, and get the "jump to" link. Which seems a bit odd to me. I've always had the prompt in past years.
Also, the username and password I use are the same - I use the same for all my Intuit accounts.
Wel...I know there were issues with the ItsDeductible import a couple weeks ago, but I thought they had fixed them. Maybe it's acting up again

anyhow
1) Log separately into your ItsDeductible account (thru a bowser window), make sure your 2021 tab is selected..and then ensure you have donations actually showing for 2021.
2) Then, the ItsDeductible import is available within the Online tax software (Deluxe and higher versions) without using the Search function....you just have to be willing to scroll down the Deductions&Credits menu page and ignore what's at the top of the screen: (See Below):

Thank you, SteamTrain; that sort of helped. Before I didn't click the additional tax breaks button to get the additional items. I did now; however, when I select "Import from ItsDeductible", I still get to the page that asks me to choose the charitable donations to import, with no choices offered.
Sorry, I have no trouble doing so using my Online test account...so I don't know what's going on with yours.
The only thing you might try is logging out of that browser, and log into your tax account with a different browser to see if that matters....shouldn't, but grasping at straws at this point.
_______________
I gave up using ItsDeductibe years ago for my own Charity donations.
...I just use a spreadsheet to record them, and yeah, I have to enter each one individually come tax time.
...but ItsDeductible has had so many issues over the years, I gave up using it for anything but a few tests.

"Additional Tax Breaks" Yeah.....you really have to expand that every time. You may find something down there that you've missed. Same with the Income section...to see other potential income items you haven't thought about.
SteamTrain,
I've had no issues over the years with ItsDeductible. Actually, this is only the 2nd year I've used TurboTax online (I get a discount through my bank). Wonder if the old fashioned way of downloading the program would be more successful.
Many thanks for the effort.
Still no resolution...
OK, I've received absolutely no assistance from an "Employee TurboTax Specialist" beyond their first reply. I also called customer support, and even though they were very nice, they said the issue is technical and they are unable to help. I asked if there was anywhere else I could turn for assistance, and they gave me the phone number of Intuitt corporate. I called that number, dialed "0" as directed, and was promptly disconnected.
So, after using TurboTax for 20+ years, I've decided to no longer use the product. It was a good product for awhile; however, there is some kind of bug in the system and Intuitt is providing absolutely no way to seek resolution.
This is the ONLY way it works. Thanks for the feedback, saved me hours!!!
If I could add a 1000 thumbs up I would. You are the first and ONLY person who has provided the correct answer (and pictures to boot!).
All other directions are describing and interface path that doesn't exist in Online Turbotax. FYI to the world, there is no "Jump to" in online Turbotax. Searching for "Deductions" in Online Turbotax only turns up help docs including steps telling you to Search "Deductions" and "click the Jump to link". 😡
After countless frustrating attempts at browser cache settings/popups/etc, I got mine to import using the screen display settings work-around. It seems that in Windows 10 there's a display glitch where certain windows pop up but dont' display properly.
So, what tech support told me once on initial install (this is for desktop version by the way), if you get a pop up asking for login info or license nmbr and it doesn't appear to have the fields to enter, you need to access your display settings (start>settings>display), then change either size or resolution setting and save, then alt-tab back to TT and you should see what you couldn't see before. The BIG PAIN IN THE A** is that you may have to alt-tab back and forth several times to complete your login for itsdeductible, but it may work if this is your issue.
Technical issue glitch they need to fix
(I am working in TT HAB2020, by the way)
