Yes, you should be able to access the underpayment penalty worksheet (Form 2210) in the TurboTax Online version. However, the forms may not show if you didn't complete the Underpayment Penalty questionnaire.
Select Other Tax Situations from the left side menu, and look for Underpayment Penalty under Additional Tax Payments. Go through the Underpayment Penalty section and answer all the questions. This should ensure that the forms appear in your return.
Navigate to Tax Tools on the left menu, select Print Center, choose Print, save, or preview this year's return, and select the option to Include government and TurboTax worksheets. You will need to have paid for your Online product in order to print these forms.
See this help article for more information.

Here's how you can fix it:
Sign in to your account and select the Fix my return button. Follow any “fix it” instructions to update the information causing the rejection.
Note: Not all rejections will have explicit guides to fix the information. You’ll need to navigate to the program area to address the cause of the rejection.
Time-saving Tip: If what you originally entered is correct, you won't be able to e-file. There's probably a data mismatch at the government, a dependent that's already been claimed, or some other situation beyond your control that prevents your return from being e-filed. In this case, your only option would be to print and mail in your return. This article will give you instruction on how to print and mail your return.
Additional reject instruction here.

Yes. Because your sister was already taking payments, you must take an annual RMD every year starting in 2026 (The year after her death).
As an eligible designated beneficiary, you have the choice of taking distributions over your own life expectancy, or follow the 10-year rule, which requires you to empty the account by December 31 of the 10th year after her death. Note: Even if you choose this method, you must still take the annual RMDs, as mentioned above.
Yes. For the balance as of 12/31/2025, use the amount that was actually deposited into your inherited IRA in 2026. Take that amount and divide it by your Single Life Expectancy factor based on your age on your birthday in 2026 - Click here to use the IRS Life Expectancy Table to help you determine your RMD.

Report like a US pension.
Go to Federal
Select Wages & Income
Scroll to Retirement Plans & Social Security
Click Start/Revisit next to IRA, 401(k), Pension Withdrawals (1099‑R)
When asked if you received a 1099‑R, choose: “I’ll type it in myself”
Select Use Form 4852 (substitute for 1099‑R)
This is required because foreign pensions do not issue U.S. 1099‑R forms.
Enter the NR4 amounts as follows:
Box 1 (Gross distribution) → NR4 Box 16 (or Box 26 depending on code)
Taxable amount → same as gross (unless you know part is non‑taxable)
Payer name → Name of Canadian pension plan
Payer EIN → Usually 99-0999999 or 99-9999999 works.
Convert all amounts to USD using the yearly average exchange rate.

I have 4 different accounts with 1099-B's, The Capital Asset Sales worksheets for each account are correct and list the ST and LT gains and losses, covered and non-covered. But Form 8949 (copy 1 and copy 2) are missing some ST and LT entries. For example. Form 8949 (copy 1): PART 1: shows the correct ST covered G/L for account 1 & 3 but is missing ST covered G/L for accounts 2 & 4. PART 2: shows the correct LT covered G/L for accounts 1 & 2 but is missing LT covered G/L for accounts 3 & 4. Form 8949 (copy 2): PART 1: N/A - had no ST non-covered G/L PART 2: shows the correct LT non-covered G/L for accounts 3 & 4. How can i fix this and get all the correct information into Form 8949? Note I entered summary totals from the 1099-Bs for each account and some 1099-Bs have adjustments if that matters,

Contrary to Intuit stating the token number is a 6 digit number it comes up as a 9 digits-8 digits. Intuit also disallows screenshots in this thread.

Turbo Tax has made my life difficult. I keep getting the message "line 6 State ID must be entered" and it won't let me E-File. They have put a zero on the form so it shouldn't require a State ID. I have gone back and entered a State ID on my 1099 DIV's and it still won't let me E-FILE. What can I do and/or can I get my MONEY back?

The IRS requires extra information once your charity donations exceeds $500 for the year. Form 8283 must be filled in. The form asks how acquired, date, and your basis- what you paid.
You want to group similar items -household items, toys, etc.
For example: clothing items, value at local thrift shop $450, date purchased - various makes the most sense, pick a date a year earlier than the donation, cost basis - just a reasonable guess of what you paid. You can't deduct more than you paid.
Once you hit the $5,000 mark, a formal written appraisal from a professional appraiser is required.

It depends.
Are you using the TurboTax online web based editions or the TurboTax desktop software installed on your personal computer? If desktop, which operating system, Windows or Mac?

It's now the last week of March and still nothing. This is absolutely ridiculous that we spend as much as we do and Intuit can't sort out some of the basics. I literally worked with claude and had it type the entire file in manually for me. Even that doesn't work because if you manually type it in, you have to go in form view and manually click that its a digital asset (even though you check that in the input menu) in order to get the 8949 box to switch from C to I. And oh by the way, if you type 'Various' in the proper field in the GUI, it doesn't save that either, and you have to go to forms view and type it in there. This is worse than amateur hour.

Be sure to have Sprint Tax file a Form 8843 for you, which tells the IRS that you are exempt from counting your days toward the Substantial Presence Test.

Make sure your broker account settings allow 'third party access'
Disable VPN/anti-virus programs temporarily
Use an incognito browser window
Allow LAN in Browser Settings
Remember that the IRS already has copies of all your 1099's. A Category Summary Total is acceptable for reporting in your tax return.

Thank you this is perfect. based on what you said about removing the 10% penalty, I haven't been putting my Roth contributions into TT over the years. Though since I had to do this removal of contributions this year, I entered the contributions in for this year and to your point, it generated the penalty and i couldn't figure out how to remove it, so I just removed the 2025 Contributions entry, which then removed the 10% penalty that was showing up. Question, Should I re-enter the 2025 contribution for this year since I created the new 1099-Rs for the excess withdrawals, so it matches up? if so, I will, re-enter them and then follow your direction on how to remove the penalty as you describe. Also, is it good practice to enter them every year? If so, i will start doing so, but i didn't think it was necessary since the IRS knows about the contributions from the Brokerage company and there is no tax implication. Thank you again for all your advice, it's been awesome and very helpful!!
