No, if you only rent a room in your home, you are not a Real Estate Professional and therefore not required to issue Form 1099-NEC.

I don't understand why you got a 1099R from the 401k for both the rollover and conversion?  If you converted from the IRA to ROTH IRA  you should be getting a 1099R from the IRA, it should not included on the 401k 1099R account again.  Something is wrong.  Better check with both the 401k plan and IRA plan.      @dmertz

TurboTax gets no information after you file your tax return.   No one at TT knows what the IRS is doing or saying about your return.   If the IRS wants additional information, copies of tax documents etc. from you, they will mail you a letter to ask for that.   Sit tight until then, and watch the IRS refund site for information.

Are one of you a dependent on the other persons return?  If so, then the person claiming the other person would be the one to enter the 1095-A on their return.     If neither of you is claimed as dependents, then you will both enter the 1095-A on your returns.  You will start by entering the full amounts as they appear on the 1095-A.  You will then select shared this policy with another taxpayer and then enter her name and social security number on your return and she will need to do the same on hers.     Then you will need to agree on what percentage you want to allocate to each of you.  You can do 50/50 or 0/100 or any amount in between as long as it adds up to 100%.  The credit would then be based on each of the taxpayers income instead of the person who applied for the policy.  This means if you applied for the policy and you added your mom but you do not claim her as a dependent on your return, if she makes more than you and it is more than 400% of the Federal Poverty Level and she claims 100%, then she may need to repay some or all of the  Advanced Premium Tax Credit you received.   What is the Premium Tax Credit?
It says to click the fix Tab and I do that and it just takes me back in a big circle round and around and around why is this and can it be bypassed or cut off or something

Some have received a message from Charles Schwab saying downloads would be enabled on Feb 27th.   If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.   To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings: Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu. Toggle the switch to ON. Refresh the page and attempt your import again. If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play: Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements. Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back. Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser. Helpful TurboTax Articles: What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue? How do I import my 1099s? In the community we do not have access to information about your returns.    If you want specific information you will have to call TurboTax Customer service.  Here is a link:  Turbo Tax Customer Service    There is an article below on tracking your state return.   Where's my Refund is the most accurate information as it is directly from the IRS. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has no control over the processing of your return or the release of your refund. The TurboTax site can only update if the information is provided for the software to update. This doesn't always happen so the information shown on TurboTax could be behind.   The IRS is who is issuing your refund, not TurboTax, so the IRS has the most up to date information.    Here are a couple FAQs to track your refund: When will I get my federal tax refund? How do I track my state refund? Why does Where's My Refund say "approved" but TurboTax still says "accepted"? Why do some refunds take longer than others? What if my IRS refund is taking longer than 21 days?

If you read back through the string, there's been a litany of issues regarding the ability to download from Schwab in TT desktop ... I'm, going to wait to try again in desktop, but this has been an annual thing between Schwab and TT, and in the past I was given a work-around from TT support to download into TT online, then save that file to desktop and work from there. But that ability has been taken away.  Appreciate someone from Intuit (employee) chiming in finally. Thank you.

I had errors from Vanguard until today (would not import at all). I tried today, and it imported everything except my 1099-B transactions (which are on the downloaded form). Not good at all. I guess the problem is between Intuit and Vanguard. I am very disappointed. If I was not aware of this, my 1040 would be wrong as these 1099-B transactions would be missing.
