According to the TurboTax Forms availability for Individuals chart, the Qualified Disaster Distributions form (8915-F) is ready.   Make sure your software is updated if you are using TurboTax desktop.     You can get to the form interview by going to the 1099-R, retirement income questions.   Where do I enter a 1099-R?

Once your tax return is accepted, the IRS takes over processing. If the IRS refund tool says that your refund was issued today but it hasn't arrived, it is often due to banking processing times, which can take 1-5 additional business days.    For status updates, you can use the IRS tool Where's my Refund?. You can also use the tools TurboTax site tracking tool.

The answers here are helpful but here's the tl;dr:   1. INCOME tab: Adding the 1099-R for the rolled-over contribution will increase your tax 2. DEDUCTIONS tab: Adding the contribution to Traditional and Roth IRA Contributions will undo the taxable increase   **You need to do BOTH tabs to avoid being double-taxed. Turbotax will allow you to do the Deductions half first if you like.**   Yet another year where backdoor Roth is a pain in the butt in Turbotax. Maybe someday they'll fix this to not be totally confusing and fiddly.
Yes, since you began depreciating the property in 2007, enter the same numbers you entered previously. In some cases, the numbers may be different (but not for your property).

Thank you, CatinaT1; I've printed out your solution for future reference. A few days ago I solved the problem before receiving your post: The first two successful data downloads were with my Edge browser; the third download did not come through. Just on a whim I switched to Chrome and the third download came through.  I don't understand why the first two worked with Edge, but the third required a browser change; I'm just glad to have it done.

TurboTax does not ever "update" with a refund date.   TT will only show that your e-file was accepted.  You have to track your refund yourself on the IRS refund site.   TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer.  “21 days”  is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.      First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:  https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/   Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.     You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2025 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:    https://www.irs.gov/refunds   To track your state refund:     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_US_en_US?uid=lt447ebr   If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing     https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/refunds-take-longer-others/L14YlqFrH_US_en_US?uid=lexdr7zh . https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/irs-refund-taking-longer-21-days/L2vRAJbdU_US_en_US?uid=lexe7lst         If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act.  Do not expect your refund before early March   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/internal-revenue-service/federal-refunds-delayed-due-path-act/L5jnQJsBi_US_en_US   Note:  “Accepted” is not the same as “approved”.  TurboTax tells you the e-file was accepted if the IRS deems that there is enough information on the return for them to take it in for processing.   Only the IRS can approve of the refund, which is a later stage of processing.  If the IRS approves your refund they will provide a date for the refund to be issued.   FROM THE IRS WHERE’S MY REFUND SITE: https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund How it works Where's My Refund shows your refund status: Return Received – We received your return and are processing it. Refund Approved – We approved your refund and are preparing to issue it by the date shown. Refund Sent – We sent the refund to your bank or to you in the mail. It may take 5 days for it to show in your bank account or several weeks for your check to arrive in the mail.

Alimony is not an itemized deduction.    For divorces finalized before January 1, 2019, alimony is deductible on Alabama state returns using TurboTax by entering it under "Deductions & Credits" > "Other Deductions and Credits" > "Alimony Paid". For agreements dated after 2018, the deduction is not allowed federally or in Alabama, and it is not considered taxable income for the recipient.
Yes, the prior depreciation for your state return will be the same as you calculated from your standard mileage deduction.

The $40 is not a fee to e-file.   The extra $40 is a refund processing fee that is charged if you choose to pay for using Deluxe by having the fees deducted from your federal refund instead of paying with a credit or debit card before you e-file.     Pay upfront and avoid that extra fee.     REMOVE REFUND PROCESSING FEE   https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/remove-pay-refund-fees-turbotax-online-change/L7UxC6ZZp_US_en_US?uid=m6r4xelq

If you filed your 2024 return in TurboTax Online, and wish to e-file an amended return, it is possible.  Contact TurboTax to receive your free download (if you filed in TTO, you will most likely qualify). If you filed elsewhere in 2024  or don’t qualify for a free edition, here is a link to purchase a copy: https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/   Once you have your copy of 2024 TTD, go into TurboTax Online. Go to Tax Home, scroll down until you see 'Your tax returns & documents'. Select the year '2024' and then ‘Download .tax file’.    Open TurboTax Desktop and select ‘Amend a Filed Return’. Then select ‘Find a .tax file’. Select the file from your downloads. Highlight the file and then select, ‘Open’.  You may want to go to File > Save As and rename the file.    Go back to the main screen and select ‘Amend a filed return’. Select ‘Find a tax file’. Highlight the renamed return and select ‘Open’. Select ‘Continue’.    Select ‘Yes, I’ve already filed my return’. Then select ‘I need to amend my 2024 return.’ Select ‘Continue’. Select ‘Update’ next to the section that needs to be amended. Once the section is updated, you will be brought back to the initial screen with ‘Update’. If you need to amend an additional section, click ‘Update’. If you have entered in all updated information, select ‘Done’.     Answer any questions in the next sections, click ‘Continue’ until you get to the screen ‘Why did you need to amend your return?’ Enter a brief description of why you need to amend. Click ‘Continue’ for the next few screens, until you get to the amended return summary. Review the summary for accuracy. Click ‘Continue’. Print and save your return.   Click on the ‘File’ tab above to file your return electronically. Then choose ‘Electronic Filing’ and then ‘File Electronically’. Follow the instructions. There may be some situations where the IRS does not permit e-filing. In this case, the return will have to be mailed in.

TurboTax Business does not support PDF attachments for e-filed returns at this time. This enhancement has been requested but there is no estimated timeframe for implementation.
