You can track the status of your tax refund on the IRS Where's My Refund site. You will need your SSN, filing status, and exact refund amount. The Where's My Refund site has the most up-to-date information regarding the status of your tax return and a specific date of when to expect your refund.
Please see the TurboTax FAQ When will I get my IRS refund? for more information.

This did not work. It involves signing in but the sign-in second screen freezes on me.

I filed my taxes for my stimulus check a couple months ago I still haven't received it should I be worried

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Talk to Customer Service Person?

No, the IRS is taking longer this year.

You are not alone. Millions are still waiting. Turbo Tax only gives you an estimated date. The IRS usually pays most refunds within 21 days. But these are not normal times. This year is taking the IRS longer to send the refunds. There are millions more people filing returns to get the Stimulus payment.

See this news article on Refunds being delayed

Only the IRS can tell you. If your return was Accepted then check IRS Where's my refund
https://www.irs.gov/refunds/

The IRS is seriously behind in processing 2020 tax returns.  This is due to many factors, such as the pandemic, completing processing of millions of 2019 tax returns, stimulus payments, unemployment compensation exclusion tax refunds., changes in the tax code by Congress in the middle of the 2020 tax season and the like.

Millions of taxpayers have not yet received there federal tax refunds.

Go to this IRS website for operational status - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-during-covid-19-mission-critical-functions-continue

The IRS is opening mail within normal timeframes and all paper and electronic individual returns received prior to April 2021 have been processed if the return had no errors or did not require further review.  As of August 20, 2021, we had 10.1 million unprocessed individual returns.  Unprocessed individual returns include tax year 2020 returns such as those requiring correction to the Recovery Rebate Credit amount or validation of 2019 income used to figure the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC). This work does not require us to correspond with taxpayers but does require special handling by an IRS employee so, in these instances, it is taking the IRS more than 21 days to issue any related refund and in some cases this work could take 90 to 120 days. If, as a result, a correction is made to any RRC, EITC or ACTC claimed on the return, the IRS will send taxpayers an explanation. Taxpayers are encouraged to continue to check Where’s My Refund? for their personalized refund status and can review Tax Season Refund Frequently Asked Questions.

What you should do: In most instances, no further action is needed but you may check Where’s my refund or you can view your account. If you filed electronically and received an acknowledgement, you do not need to take any further action other than promptly responding to any requests for information. If you filed on paper, check Where’s my refund? If it tells you we have received your return or are processing or reviewing it, we are processing your return, but it may be under review. We’re working hard to get through the backlog. Please don’t file a second tax return or contact the IRS about the status of your return.

i need activation code for prior turbotax programs for years 2020 +2019.  i ahve deleted these files.  activation code never used in past.

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Talk to Customer Service Person?

There were no license codes for TurboTax software for years prior to 2019.   2019 was the first year that TurboTax used license codes with the CD/download.

Access your downloads here

https://shop.turbotax.intuit.com/commerce/account/secure/login.jsp?pagecontext=download

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/activating-turbotax-cd-download-software/00/852971

To find your license code:

 https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-topics/help/i-can-t-find-my-license-code/01/852973

If you used desktop software downloaded/installed from a CD to your own computer, then the tax files are stored locally on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.  They are not stored online.  If you cannot recover them due to a hard drive failure, etc. you can get a free transcript from the IRS or for a fee of $43, an actual copy of your tax return.

@Joe-604

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”

Tax Year Prior to 2020: Talk to Customer Service Person?

I called to talk to someone to see how to reset my password, as I couldn't get into my account to do a download for 2022 turbotax release.  I was aware it would cost me $5.00.  Well, when that person's information didn't help, and I explained the problem as I tried her way to go about it, she asked if I wanted to talk to someone else that could help me.  Well, that person gave me a couple of suggestions, that were just a repeat of what I had already been told to try.  Then he said I will email you a link.  After I hung up, I tried both links.  One was a link that no longer was in use and the other didn't do anything but take me back to the loop that kept wanting my current password.  Then today, I see that Turbotax charged me $55 for this useless information.  I am so angry right now, that it isn't a good time to call them back.  Especially since I just set up a new user account and ordered the download to my laptop for $70.  So, I am not using Turbotax next year.  After using them for 12 years, I feel that I was taken advantage of, as no one said it would be an additional $55 to talk to someone else.  What a scam..............
