Your Customer Service Is Ridiculous.

Are there even real people working there right now? I requested a refund for my tax services in July and have not been able to reach an actual human being since. I also did not get the refund for my services.

 

I paid to have my taxes done this year and they were done INCORRECTLY so I didn't receive a stimulus check. I lost my job so that money was something I really needed. I tried to follow up with customer service and all it is is a constant circle of questions. How can I reach a real human being? I have a case number and everything.

Your Customer Service Is Ridiculous.

Not completing the MY INFO section correctly to indicate if you can be claimed as a dependent by someone else is a user enter error not a program error.  And there are no refunds of the online fees once they are paid.  So you are out of luck... none of the guarantees cover user data entry errors. 

 

What is the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee?

In plain English, if you pay an IRS or state penalty or interest because of a TurboTax calculation error, we'll pay you the penalty and interest.

No, our unconditional 60-day money-back guarantee only applies to TurboTax CD/Download products which are installed on computers and laptops.

Per our Terms of Service for the mobile app:

You may use the Service without charge up to the point you decide to print or electronically file your tax return. Printing or electronically filing your return reflects your satisfaction with software, at which time you will be required to pay for the Services.

 

 

What is your "Maximum Refund (or Tax Savings) Guarantee or Your Money Back" all about?

Simply put, our Maximum Refund (or Tax Savings) Guarantee says that if you get a bigger tax refund (or owe less taxes) through another tax preparation method, we'll refund the purchase price you paid for TurboTax.

As with any guarantee, there are stipulations — for example, you have to notify us within 60 days of filing your return in TurboTax, and your return must be identical to the return prepared using the other tax-prep method.
