Absolutely ridiculous. Going through the same thing. They have been holding my money since February and still haven’t received it. I even went as far as filling out an indemnity bond form for god knows what reason but I was desperate. Still no reply after I sent that in after a whopping month and half. People need there ****ing money.
We're is my refund at it was $490.17
How I only get back 25 Dollar something not right I need my deposit ASAP thank you
Netspend: $25.78 available after $34.27 Direct Deposit load from TPG PRODUCTS on 06/02/2022 06:09:05 this ant my currently refund I need my money
@Willisj20 No Way! 😳 $25?! That is absurd. I pray these ppl don’t mishandle my money like this or there will be serious problems. You need to contact TT (Turbo Tax) or an attorney. The fact that people’s funds are being tampered with like this is crazy! I pray and hope you get some resolution. Good luck! 👍🏾
TurboTax and TPG have been holding my money as well, I can’t get through to speak to anyone at their bank and when I call TurboTax they give me different answers every time! mean while they have been holding on to my money since march and nobody is helping me. I’m going to sue them !!
My issue has been resolved
@ borsodas wrote:Having the same problem was wondering about my refund checked the tool and see it was sent on Sept 9 2021 a total of $6,346 ...
TurboTax didn't even ask me for my direct deposit info they just prefilled info from this shady bank
I'm a fellow user, but may be able to explain a possibility. See if the answer I just left you in your other thread explains the routing number you are seeing and gives you a clue where you may be able to look for your refund. If you chose to pay the TurboTax fees out of the Federal refund, it would first go from the IRS to SBTPG's bank. If you chose that method, and if SBTPG's bank took out the fees and released the refund, the next paragraph explains where it may have ended up. If you did not choose that SBTPG method to pay any fees, it could have gone directly from the IRS to the account described below.
Based on the routing number you posted in your other thread, I'm wondering if you chose the option to get your refund into a Credit Karma Money Spend account and Credit Karma Visa Debit card. Those products are handled by MVB Bank. See the full info in my other post I left you at:
I am having same issue I spend all day on phone on hold with TPG when they music stops i hear click listen to silence 2 to 3 mins then disconnected.
This is what Chime needs from me. I sent everything and even extra documents to prove my identity, however for some odd reason ever time I go on TPG website it only shows some certain things that chime not accepting. they’re trying to take my money.
this is what they’re asking for.

I still have not received my refund filed back in February still have not heard anything

How did you file--did you efile, or did you print out a paper return and mailed it to the IRS?
If you efiled, was your efiled return accepted by the IRS for processing? If you used Online TurboTax, you can check the efile status at the Tax Home of your online account. Does it confirm it was accepted?
If it was efiled and accepted (or if you mailed a paper return), do you find any info when you use the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool, using the Federal refund amount shown on your Form 1040, Line 35a?
NOTE: If you mailed a paper return, the IRS website says it can take 6 months or more just to show up in that tool.
I EFILED THROUGH THE SITE ALSO SIGNED UP TO RECIEVE THIS REFUND ON CARD ISSUED BY TURBOTAX

OK, that's a start, but you didn't answer the other questions I asked. So here are some things we still need to know to understand your situation and comment:
1) Since you efiled, was the efile accepted by the IRS? When you log into TurboTax, what is the efile status shown on the Tax Home page--does it say accepted, rejected, printed, ready to mail, or what?
2) If the efile was accepted, then what information is shown at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool? Is your return still processing, or has the IRS approved and sent your refund?
3) Did you have any TurboTax fees that you chose to pay out of your Federal refund? If so, that process uses a third-party company (SBTPG) to receive your funds and subtract the fees. Then that company sends the rest of your refund to your indicated choice (which you say was a Card). If you DID use that payment option, and if the IRS has released your refund, you can check on it at SBTPG's website by logging into their refund lookup tool. To log in, choose the "For taxpayers" portal at:
https://www.sbtpg.com/
4) "I signed up to receive this refund on a card issued by TurboTax"
Which card? TurboTax is using a new card this year. Did you choose to receive your refund on a new Credit Karma Visa Debit Card and Credit Karma MoneySpend account?
Or did you use an old Turbo Prepaid Visa Debit Card account that you already had from prior years?
I am having a similar issue as the other Turbo Tax user regarding my 2021 tax refund. I've gone in circles trying to locate my refund. I believe I added too many numbers to my direct deposit account number. I contacted my bank and thay state a refund electronic wire transfer with an incorrect account number would automatically be rejected and bounce back to the sending bank. In a case like this they would have no record of the attempted transfer. I went to the IRS and they have record the refund was issued to Turbo Tax. I contacted Turbo Tax and they say that because I paid for my refund directly out of my tax return TPG bank has the funds. I spoke to a representative at TPG who either was playing dumb to hid my refund or really doesn't understand his employer's process in situations like this but he told me I need to check with my bank for the wire number because according to TPG they wired the money to my bank and that's that (which I know the bank would not have this info from my investigation). TPG state they do not have my money. Turbo tax helped me generate an email to the help desk at TPG and they swore to me i would hear back from a manager within 48 hours. Its been 7 days and I've heard nothing. I'm getting very frustrated after 4 months of going around and around about this and it's beginning to feel like TT and TPG are somehow in on a Fraud scheme. I honestly don't know what to do at this point and would take any help or suggestions. Like everyone in this economy I'm desperate for this money to make my bills.
@ breab77
If you haven't already done so, I'd use the form mentioned below to submit a request to TurboTax Corporate and complain. It was Intuit that chose to affiliate with SBTPG in the first place, so ask them to help you resolve this.
If you wish to do so, then you can go to the page below.
https://www.intuit.com/company/executives/
Just below that page's main header tabs, you'll see a screen-wide blue banner that prominently says:
"Do you have a question, concern, or feedback about an Intuit product or service?"
There is a "Submit a Request" link. It goes to a designated person in the office of the president of Intuit, and they supposedly will assign it to the right team for review. After you click that link, it will ask you if you have already contacted Intuit Support. If you say "no", it will ask you to do so and provide the phone number. If you say "yes", however, (as in your case), it will then provide a form for you to fill out with your info, and there is a block where you can write why you contacted Support originally, and there is another block where you can write why you are escalating it to Intuit Corporate.
