Received refund from "TPG PRODUCTS SBTPG LLC” today but amount is short by $700

Received my federal refund today through TPG products. No problems, only deduction was for $20 to pay for state filing.

Is the amount sent/issued by the IRS the same as the refund amount shown on your federal tax return Form 1040 Line 35a? - https://www.irs.gov/refunds

If not, then go to this IRS website for information on reduced refunds - https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc203

Are you also receiving a state tax refund? If so, the state refund is sent directly to you based on how you chose to receive the state tax refund, it does not go through the third party processor.

Have you factored in the TurboTax account fees and the TPG service charge of $40 plus any applicable sales tax?
Review your TurboTax account fees -
Sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on View Order Details

If you requested to have the TurboTax account fees deducted from your federal tax refund, the IRS will send the refund to a third party processor to have the fees and the $40 service charge deducted. The third party processor will deduct the TurboTax fees plus the $40 service charge and then attempt to direct deposit the remaining refund balance into the account that you entered on your tax return.

That is a bunch of b*******My taxes were accepted for the amount that free tax u s a did it for and I was only to pay forty dollars not a hundred and seventeen to process my STATE. I get some random deposit. It's a $117 less than my state. Refund and a third party has my banking f****** information. I don't remember giving Anybody permission to direct deposit into my bank?Aside from the government, so maybe they need to be sued because it looks like they're raping people.You can't just say oh.That's what we deducted and not show it doesn't even say.Oregon state refund or refund which should clearly be stated what the **bleep**ing money is for

If your refund was changed by the IRS then TurboTax won't have any information on that.  You will receive a notification in the mail that will explain any changes that were made to your return or you can check your IRS account to see if there were any changes made to your return here.

If your refund was changed because TurboTax fees were deducted from it those fees were told to you as you checked out at the time.  You can check your fees by using the tools at this link.

Having a similar issue. I was supposed to receive a small federal refund of $180.  I agreed to TurboTax taking out $45 for my Federal, but what I didn't agree to and was never stated. Is that sbtpg would charge an extra $132 processing fee!? Who would agree to that? That's ridiculous. This company sbtpg was never mentioned when I was filling out the paperwork. Definitely joining a class action lawsuit about this. I will never use TurboTax again.

TPG IS A SCAM AND IF THIS MANY PEOPLE ARE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM ITS TIME FOR TURBO TAX TO LOOK INTO IT. TURBO TAX IS THE ONE PUTTING OUR MONEY IN THEIR HANDS. WE NEED ANSWERS (TURBO TAX) ON HOW TO GET OUR MONEY BACK NOT EXCUSES ON WHY WE DONT HAVE IT!!!!!

Earlier in this form. A TurboTax employee said, once the filing is done on their end. It's out of their hands. Which is b*****. They'll give you the run around. Tell you to call the IRS etc. I haven't got in contact yet with sbtpg, but others have in this form. That company will give you a breakdown of the charges, but not your money back. This is a hidden charge by turbotax, that they don't mention when filing with them. Best thing to do is get a class action lawsuit started. Intuit just lost a lawsuit just a few years ago.

I'm short $200 and yes i factored in the fees. 

Your slogan is: "You'll get audit support, accuracy, and your max refund—100% guaranteed."

That guarantees the arrival of my max refund to me. 100%. Somewhere in that process is an issue that caused me not get my max refund. IDC where or what 3rd party is responsible. That guarantee of yours takes that problem out of my hands. So fix it and give us our money. Your responses are inappropriate and insufficient.
