I messed up somewhere on filing my taxes cuz my tax return was supposed to be three thousand nine hundred and something and now it's only a thousand somebody needs to help me please
Something must have changed in your account to result in a lower refund.
Potential explanations could be:
Whether the return has been e-filed yet or not, it can be corrected.
If it was already e-filed, wait until you have received email notice from TurboTax that it was accepted. Then, go back into TurboTax and follow the steps in this article to Amend Your Return.
If it was not e-filed yet, go to Federal on the left navigation pane to re-do the interview. Be sure to have all your documents nearby to verify what was entered.
If you still have questions and nothing seems out of place, we can still help you by taking a look at your return with you.

Sorry, Online for 2018 and prior is closed now so you can not start a new 2018 return or finish one. Online is only for 2019. Oct 15, 2019 was the last day to efile. 2018 is now the prior year.

You can only buy the download for prior years. You have to buy a separate program for each year. They only sell the last 3 years. You need a full Windows or Mac computer to install it on. Buy the download here

You have to print and mail prior year returns. When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return. Don’t forget state.
Important! Mail Federal and State in separate envelopes and mail each year in separate envelopes.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. You have 3 years to file for a refund. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

Can someone help me
Would you let us know what where you think you went wrong on your taxes so we can assist you?
I didn't think to add our second stimulus payments to my tax return this year because I received it in January 2021. I figured I'd have to claim it for 2021 taxes. Now I'm finding out I was wrong. My returns have already been accepted but they say I'm getting the stimulus rebate and I'm not supposed to because I already received the second stimulus. How can I fix this, do I need to do an amended form?
Yes, you need to amend. See the update here: Stimulus
Since you have already submitted your tax return, you will have to wait until the IRS either accepts or rejects your return. You cannot return to the program to make any changes before that.
If your return got rejected for whatever reasons, you can return to the program to make your correction along with other changes. You do not need an amendment 1040-X.
If your return has been accepted, you will have to amend your return by filing a form 1040X. You should not try to amend your return until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund or your payment has cleared.
Beginning with the 2019 tax year, you can e-file amended tax returns. If you used TurboTax to prepare Form 1040-X, follow the software's instructions to e-file the amendment.
To see how to amend your taxes, click here:
Before amendment, the Recovery rebate amount will show on line 30 of your Form 1040.
I messed up on my taxes on accident
@Isaiahfields No one can see your screen or your tax return. What do you think is messed up? And did you already e-file it?
